The waitress was really nice, but unfortunately, that’s all I can say good. The food was mediocre. The cook, who I assume is the owner, wasn’t wearing a mask and was constantly complaining about the mask situation. It made it awkward for me, being the only customer wearing one. The owner had a few political rants too while I was there. Given that he’s an anti-masker, I think you can guess who his rant was in support of. There are so many other places in Bloomfield that have way better food and you don’t have to listen to someone complain about politics.

Good hole in the wall breakfast place!
I visited this place last 3 years ago. I should have posted a review then, but today my Facebook memories reminded me of this visit. At the time, I was pregnant with my 3 year old and my husband and I had decided to stop for breakfast before we visited the maternity unit at West Penn. I will never forget this breakfast. It tasted like real home cooked. Like something I remember from when I was growing up. A taste and a place that is true Pittsburgh. Will definitely return soon ♥️
