Came with my family with 2 young kids. Sign says seat yourself so we did. Waited 15-20 min and nobody came over to our table. Half of another party came in and sat down and was served right away. By the time someone came to our table they said it was an hour wait for food, which might have been fine if my family hadn’t been ignored for 20 min.The staff wasn’t very apologetic at all and the waitress made sure to let us know that “we aren’t even her table, they just sent me over here” as if she was doing us a personal favor by acknowledging our presence after 20 min.
Terrible service. Table of 7. Three meals came out an hour and a half after we ordered. The rest of the meals came out a half hour later. Manager stated tickets for large groups are split. But a half hour later!!??? Three tables that came in after we did had their checks before we were served.
Awesome business lunch. Fast, friendly service. Beautiful facility, will definitely be back!
For great beer, great food and a clean and healthy bar room atmosphere, this one is gold standard. Presenting with a somewhat military air, this is a minimalist decor, easy to navigate bar and grill. Low on frills, but high on function. Top notch. A note on burgers: if you say rare, rare you will get. So tell them exactly how you like it done. Brief but exact description of expectation is key, they will listen to what you say. A word on the beer: There's a wide variety and lots of fun to be had in the trying, but be aware of the pricing, some of it is not cheap. I have never had a more expensive beer then the Big Bad Baptist Black Forest Cake Stout. I have also never had a better beer. I want you to hear this because I've had great beer over all of the greater Pittsburgh area--Pittsburgh, the drinking town with a football problem, the American city that never stops having Oktoberfest--for my entire life. And I have NEVER had a better beer. It's $14 a glass. Yes. That's a lot. I'll save the waitress some breath and give you the heads up, it's $$, some of this stuff. But it's worth it. I'd take one of those stouts over 3 erie railbenders (also good, also available). Mileage will vary, but that's my two cents. I look forward to my next visit.
The service was great, staff friendly, the food is average bar food and reasonably priced with truly massive portion sizes.
Nice place for a family meal. Good variety of food, something for everyone, big portions, big selection of drinks. Run by a nice family.
Excellent staff…. Love it there
It's a love it or hate it place, I hate it.My last visit there was truly my last. Went to lunch with my 3 daughters and after 10 minutes my daughter went and got menus herself. 15 minutes later we had to flag down the waitress to ask for our orders to be taken. She had already taken orders for several tables that came in after us. After an extremely long wait our food arrived. Food was hot and very large portions. My BLT sandwich was large but the bacon was thick and overcooked making it difficult to eat. I only ate half. Finally we flagged the waitress down again to ask for bills and to add dessert to go. Bills were wrong. Two daughters bills were added together. Third daughter was overcharged by $14 for a cocktail she didn't order. Waitress never came to ask if we needed anything unless we called her. Oh and to top it off we were joined during our meal by 3 flies that were extremely annoying and disgusting. The table was dirty and something very odd was inside the ice in my drink. There is ample parking and a bar. Many people I know love this place but for me I'm done.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The food is outstanding, reasonable prices, excellent servers and just all around a worth it experience. The carrot cake is freaking phenomenal.
Normally the service is not that good but today the service was great...our server was very attentive, personable and made our visit really enjoyable. Shout out to Karen for the great service. We got the rib special and the ribs were meat-falling-off-the-bone good, sweet potato fries and a biscuit. We will definitely be back and hope we get the same server.
