A friendly bar with decent bar food. We really like the shrimp appetizer. Good sandwiches. It looked like most people order pizza there.

We enjoyed our visit to Proper! The drinks, food and staff were wonderful! I had a specialty drink that was yummy! They have several draft beer options! I’m not a huge IPA fan but I am a big Buffy fan and there was a draft beer from Helltown Brewing named after my favorite TV show! The appetizer we got was the Brussel sprouts, so very good and unique. I recommend getting them!! Pasta entrees were flavorful and the perfect portion. You can tell the pasta is fresh and it was cooked perfectly. The restaurant was clean and even the fellow patrons were friendly.

Great pizza and great beer selection! We wanted good pizza during our Annivesary trip to Pittsburgh and this place delivered. Well staffed, pleasant servers and quick service at lunch. We shared the carnivore pizza and tried several local beers. All were very good. Glad we made this stop!

Great pizza, good beer selection and courteous and attentive staff.

We had about a 30 minute wait at 6 pm on a Wednesday. We shared a Carnivore pizza, which filled us. Seating was comfortable. Noise level was reasonable. Staff was super friendly and attentive.

The food was on point. Pancetta wrapped shrimp were amazing. The mains offered some interesting choices. The hostess helped us out big time. Our server, well might do well with some customer service training and knowing the menu would probably do her well. All in all a 4.25 out of 5

Service was awesome... so friendly.... the food was quite tasty but seemed to take a really long time to come out.... was hot when it came out so was not the server...possibly a backup in the kitchen. Would possibly try again.....

We got seats at the bar right away. No waiting on a Friday night. Had a house punch which was delicious and strong. Also had a house salad and pizza which were both great. Highly recommend this establishment

Was in town for business and I like to try to find great pizza or BBQ in every city I visit. Saw this place got good reviews so I figured I'd try it out. Boy am I glad that I did. I got the candied bacon, house salad with goat cheese and pears, and Margherita pizza and there wasn't any food left on my plates. Yeah it's a little pricey but so is everything now a days so if I'm going to drop $40 I want to get my monies worth and I definitely did. Would go back next time I'm in town.

This was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Friendly service, and only a short 20 minute wait for a Friday at dinner time. I can’t wait to come back!
