Small buffet selection. Tandoori chicken was not very tasty and seemed dry, reheated. Chicken korma and masala were decent but not very flavorful..Naan was ok. There was cauliflower dish. Standard spinach dish but the color was so off I didn't try it. Chickpeas were ok. No lentils. First time I have ever been to an Indian buffet without lentils. The only dessert was sweet balls which were good. There was small salad bar also. And a couple other dishes I think. Was not cheap. I think 12.99. The waiter was nice and the place was fairly clean and empty was the reason I went in. I was craving Indian food. This place unfornately did not hit the spot.
Was in a mood for indian food so went to prince of india . I was impressed with the service provided by Atif where the food was served on time where the flavor was to the money . Punjabi food at its best . There are many choice of indian food in Pittsburgh but if you are looking for some good Punjabi food visit Prince.
Beautiful interior, delicious dishes, nice selection of drinks, relaxing music, friendly server, reasonable price, lively location! What else can I ask for? ??
I showed up for a late lunch so I can understand the buffet was not at its best, but this was downright awful. The chicken tandoori was dry and tough, very unusual for a thigh (which was the only piece left) . The chicken masala and korma was likewise dry and chewy, and the sauce bland and tasteless like it was right out of a can. The vegetable pakora was dry and tough. The saag wasn't terrible, but it's not much of a dish by itself. Without question, this was poorest example of Indian dining I have ever sat through. I see a lot of good reviews so maybe the made-to-order meals are better. I would skip the buffet though.
It was fantastic. Great service , food was delicious. Recommend this place if you are in Pittsburgh.
The food is not good. Tomato paste in the biryani made it taste like ketchup. Chicken breast instead of thighs in the butter chicken. Stay away from the tandoori and chicken tikka. The korma was decent though.
great food and service 10/10
Great Indian, don't ask for spicy unless you are ready for it. Taj Mahal beer and a chicken tikka masala are pretty close to the best meal ever...will return!!
The Aloo Tikki and tamari was good, but my naan was cold, dry and burnt and the tandoori chicken was bland and not spicy at all even though I ordered it hot.
This place is amazing. I just started college in the area, and I’ve been missing home food. Prince of India is so good; it satisfies my craving for good Indian cuisine with affordable prices. I’ve been here every week!
