Out of towners following through on being told we just HAD to eat here while in Pittsburgh. It is certainly unique (the entire meal piled on) and all four of us loved the food. The service, like many places after COVID, took a little patience because they are overwhelmed with customers.So 5 stars for the food and 5 stars for a company that does its best to reach out to customers to always make things right.
We received great service and the food was good. It took a little longer than expected for the food but it was worth it. It was our servers first day and he was very nice. The bathroom was clean which is a plus.

Not the best Primanti's in the city. That one is down on the Strip. But this one works. Its easy to get to. Plenty of parking everywhere. Several bus lines. Alcohol with a cool little bar area.Protip: Primanti's has good wings and chicken strips. Check those out.

Went there on my day off right when they opened and got a delicious ham and cheese. I love how they ask how everything is at Primantis! How can anything not be excellent! Believe me, if you want a huge sandwich with French fries, coleslaw, tomato and whatever else you want on it in the meat department go here IMMEDIATELY for a delicious giant sandwich and some local banter. Years ago after a show in the strip district I watched my friend eat 2 entire sandwiches and he's a small guy.
It was my first time in Pittsburgh - it was amazing and this place is at the top for reasons why (other than watching the Steelers beating the Ravens)!! The sandwiches were massive and you can get a side pickle!! Amazing ? This place is a must try! Can’t wait to go back and try the other sandwiches!
Crazy good sandwiches with the slaw and the fries inside?! Yum. Wings were good, but smaller size than most I've eaten. The bread seemed home made and was the perfect vehicle for all the flavors inside! Delicious local craft beer for lunch hit the spot. Waiter was fun~ highly recommend for a fun lunch!
Always an awesome experience being from the area and visiting home - need to find a way to bring Primanti Bros to Austin, TX!
