I ordered 1/2 rack of ribs and brisket sandwich. Both were not completely cooked, no flavor and Luke warm. Also got cornbread, it was soaking wet with butter, couldn't eat any of the food. Had to take it home and recook it. I drove hour and a half to pick up the food and hour and a half back home. What I use to think of being the best BBQ place around, is no longer my favorite place.
Horrible. All the sides tasted like they came from a box. Stoufers mac n cheese. Ribs we’re all fat and mush. The next morning we we’re all sick. You couldn’t pay me to eat there again
Pulled chicken itself was fine until the BBQ sauce went on it, tasted generic. The ribs were tough, tasted old and were cold (we went from there to our hotel room right next door). Spicy BBQ sauce had no kick. Beans textured like they had been sitting all day, and cole slaw just bad. To top it off we felt like we were inconveniencing the workers. Lastly, the huge sign when you go to the door states you must wear a mask to enter their business but apparently they aren't required to wear them.
Always top notch bbq, brisket is awesome, along with the ribs, St Louis the crown jewel. All of the sides are good, but the big surprise was the brisket chili. Not always on the menu. Fantastic! Big chunks of brisket, tomato, peppers, and no beans! Spicy but not too hot. Award winning in my book
Definitely worth taking the stop.The meat is on display and the color from the smoke perfect along with the flavor.

Pittsburgh Barbecue catered our golf outing this weekend. John and his crew did an excellent job! Not only was the food delicious, but it arrived hot, on time, with plenty to eat for everyone. Best brisket anywhere! 10/10...Get these guys to cater your next event!
Tried to place a catering order from Pittsburgh Barbecue for my sister's birthday. Called more than two weeks in advance and was told they were too busy to accept the order, even though they promote catering orders on their web site. Went to Mission BBQ in Robinson instead. Really glad I did. Party was last night and the pulled pork, brisket, sauces, and sides were delicious. The customer service for both ordering and delivery was also fantastic. After the disappointment at Pittsburgh Barbecue, it was nice to have a good experience.
These guys catered our wedding just yesterday and it was phenomenal! We had people saying its the best BBQ they've had! The only reason they are receiving 4 and not 5 is because of the communication! We were told at one point that we were getting a pig roast when we were suppose to get pulled pork, smoked chicken, and some sides! I must say though that the staff we ended up getting were awesome! Vicki was the one in charge for our wedding and she did a great job! Really hope y'all can work on getting the communication thing down because we really did love the food!
The spicy sauce is one of the Best Bbq sauces I've ever had ! The St Louis style ribs were beyond Tender. And the Brisket was phanomenal ! I did add spicy sauce to everything lol. Mac n chesse and the beans ! So amazing ! We might not be BIG on BBQ in Illinois. But we know good food and this place gets FIVE ????? from me !-Adam
