Great sandwiches at a great price. The staff are awesome and fun to converse with. This place should have more national recognition than Primanti's because they make a far better sandwich.
I love Peppi's! It's literally the best sandwich place. I drove my wife and son 4 hours here from DC just to get a sandwich.If you are new to Pittsburgh, let me give you a tip, skip permantis, it pales in comparison to the magnificence of Peppi's.

A must stop every time we are in town. Every time we are there D working the register cracks jokes, has fun with the kids, and makes it fun. The food is amazing, bread is soft, and service is top notch. Looking forward to our next stop in the burgh.

We made the mistake of going the day of a Steelers game. Really long wait. You can tell the workers enjoy the place with all the fun banter back and forth. We should have ate there but too many people so we took it to go. Decent meal but would have been better eaten right away.
