I have ordered 40+ times from this place. The food quality and taste is decent. However, the manager and the staff is horrible and rude. 4/7 pizza orders were cold. The last time, I complained and the manager outrightly refused to help. And so did Doordash. As a foodie, I would encourage other fellow foodies not to order from this place as if you run into any issues, the restaurant owner will not help. Quite pathetic customer experience for a loyal customer.Even in-store experience from a service standpoint is pathetic.Edit 1: Thank you for blaming the customer. I never asked you for a refund even once. I asked for a hot replacement pizza which apparently is my right or asked you to take the pizza back. I am not sure why you are being salty here. I order from outside daily, and naturally are more prone to get faulty orders. While ordering from your restaurant, I had let it slide it 3 times before actually calling in. Just because I have had previous issues, does not mean I should stop complaining if I get cold food. A cold pizza is not edible unlike a cold dish which can be warmed.Further, if what You’re saying that Doordash said is true, they would’ve actually blocked me from their platform. Sadly, this isn’t true because I have been a loyal Doordash customer for the last 5 years and also have been a Dashpass member.Anyway, I don’t need your refund either. I just want the world to know that you’re an extremely rude and unprofessional owner. And thank you for helping me prove my point! Have a great rest of your day!
My husband and I love People's Indian. Their food is beyond delicious and they have such a variety to choose from. We enjoy their fantastic and well-priced lunch buffet, as well as ordering take out. Can't go wrong with anything on their menu, but I love their vegetarian dishes. Their pizza is a unique and tasty item to try too!In addition to good food, their staff are so kind and great. Wonderful place.
Great Place. Excellent test. Don't forget to try their Indian Pizza's. Sing in King and Veer Zara (Pizza Names ).. Normal Cost.
Delicious food, rotating 18 dishes per week. Buffet almost every day, with food carefully made. Variety. 27 years in the great, real, Garfield neighborhood. Lovely inside. Complete meal, including a cold drink and hot chai. Also including salad to help you control your intake. I go here twice a week. I also understand that their pizza is great ... not your Nonna's!
I’ve been a patron of People’s as early as when they opened years ago . I’ve seen not only the growth of their restaurant and business but also literally the growth of the once young adults who have now been doing a continued excellent job of managing . People’s has grown ; their buffet has literally grown and the quality of the food remains very good - sometimes they seem to even surpass their best :-) I have to give People’s an extra high five for what they’ve done for community during the pandemic and how every last little creative detail was net when restaurants had to cut back to about 25% capacity w extra care of spacing of sitting etc. I was amazed - the quality of meeting those requirements and yet still supplying great customer service and great food was definitely noted , down to the touch of the individual classy bottles of water per table . They’ve given great thought to the changes and continue to do so ! Keep it up and thank you to all At People’s Indian Restaurant!
Tantalizing flavors! Must try pizza <3 Singh is King, excellent for vegetarians :)
Their buffet gets my heart for best place to get lunch at around the area. It's so affordable considering the quality and amount of food you're getting. Their pizzas are also amazing if you ever crave pizza and Indian food at the same time!
Best Indian buffet in Pittsburgh. The food is fresh and tasty.
Had the buffet. But it was amazing! Everything was especially good the Saturday afternoon we went and everything was stocked. Clean, nice staff. If you haven't been, it's a Garfield and probably Pittsburgh cultural staple.
I ordered the samosa chaat, the tikka masala, and the garlic naan for delivery. The food was very good. I really liked that the tikka masala as it is actually spicy even for the 5/10 spice that I ordered. Both the tikka masala and the chaat tasted very authentic. I wasn’t a huge fan of the garlic naan, it just tasted in some places of too much garlic and in some no garlic at all. Portion sizes are large for takeout and will last me 2-3 meals. Prices are definitely affordable for how much food you receive. This restaurant didn’t wow me, but was still very good overall.
