Inside of Park Place Pub is Applewood Smoke Burger Company. This is probably my favorite burger in Pittsburgh. If you're going after 7:00, YOU HAVE TO CALL and talk to someone to make sure they're still taking orders and they haven't run out of what you're planning to order! Some days they just get slammed and run out of food and have to close at like 7:30 (but the Park Place bar itself stays open). That being said, they're always friendly with great service and the food is absolutely amazing. I get the bayou burger with parm fries every time. I usually grab a rum and coke at the bar with fast and friendly service yet again with the pub itself.

Went in to pick something up for a GrubHub delivery, the order was not ready had to wait about 15 minutes for a hamburger. It did smell good. Full of 20 something's.
