Excellent food and service
Excellent food and service but felt very overpriced. My champagne cocktail was very tasty but was $18 for a regular champagne flute sized cocktail, and my eggs benedict was two eggs on a single, very small piece of toast for almost $20. The service was great and the ambiance was lovely on the back deck. We would love to go back but will have to reserve for special occasions.
Excellent service by Nathan. Onion soup was perfect mix of salt and sweet. Had the Duck, moist and delicious.
Excellent simple French cuisine with ingredients sourced locally. Typical French Bistro atmosphere and personable owner.
Very small interior and outside tables with a lot of noise from people talking loudly. Service was fair, but slow getting food probably because of short staffing. The Duck L'Orange was over cooked and dry. Mussels were ok but the sauce was bland. Drinks were overpriced. $21 for a half glass of chardonnay. $14 for a cocktail glass of Tito's vodka on the rocks with plenty of ice in the glass. Not going back.
The ambiance and food were very good, as was the service. I have had salad nicoise with fresh tuna, not canned, but I did not expect this for the price. It was lacking a few items but was very fresh. The cocktails and wine were quite expensive for Pittsburgh, so that will influence us for a future visit. I would recommend this restaurant but would caution guests about the prices.
Our waitress was great. We tried two different dishes of mussels and they were very good: Merniere and Rocquefort. The fries and baguette that came with them were good too. The wine was overpriced; the cheapest price for a bottle was around $60.
Paris 66 will not disappoint if youâre in search of high quality French food and drinks. Compared to prices in other cities, it is comparable, but definitely a pricier option for Pittsburgh standards. Still plan to return because we had a pleasant experience!
First time visit. Beautiful surroundings, friendly & helpful staff! We were seated on the porch, which quickly became extremely uncomfortable after a rain shower made it humid beyond what the 2 stationary floor fans could handle. We skipped dessert and left. Recommend mounting ceiling fans or oscillating fans mounted high on the wall! We will return, but in cooler weather.
Went here as a family with 3 young kids, very welcoming. The food was excellent, I was still thinking about it as I fell asleep.
