So much flavor packed into their food. Kind of pricy but it is worth every penny. You WILL have leftovers. This is the shrimp pad thai, minus the scallions with a heat level of 3. Just enough spice. We also had crab rangoon that were filled with plenty of creamy filling and cooked perfect. Some of the best I have had. We will return!!!

Love Thai food so we were really looking forward to dinner here. It did not disappoint. The outside dining tables were in a lovely area and we were able to have a great view of people walking by. We caught the very end of Happy Hour (should have come earlier) so we lucked out on our first drinks. The service was great and the food delicious. We ordered the Thai toasts (so so) and the combination special that was fabulous and definitely enough for two. Highly recommend!

Friday Night, 5 Friends in Pittsburgh city. Nothing could be wrong, but was a disaster dinner. Good food in Nick's but the service of our waitress was horrible. Closely to reject the bill. If the restaurant Fix the problem with the service I m sure about their succes.

First, Thai food is my favorite cuisine, so we were very excited to try Nicky’s. We sat outside at their sidewalk tables, which were shaded and very comfortable. We ordered the appetizer sampler (VERY generous for 2 people) and the mango salad to share. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. We highly recommend eating at Nicky’s!

We visited this location several times during our stay in Pittsburgh. Excellent food with gluten free options available. There is indoor and outdoor seating available for both lunch and dinner. Staff were incredibly friendly and were very accommodating to my gluten sensitivities. Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

I enjoyed the steamed dumplings, fresh green & red curry with jasmine rice. The place was nearly full in the evening & hence the service was a bit slow. There is both indoor & outdoor seating. Please be aware that a 10%service tax is added besides the tax to the bill.

All the earned Stars would go to that Chef. Every restaurant that I have been to and the surfers is already on the bill, Service is bad. This week I've been to this restaurant twice and twice I had bad service. It took almost 10 minutes to have a glass of water for my guests. Then there is the server that even if you are kind with him and smiling and super polite he barely aligns two or three words in the same sentence without looking into your eyes. When you are catering and serving the public the public is expected to have a certain decent human contact. You don't like it and go work elsewhere.Thank God the food is exceptionnelly good.

Just ate here for the first time and my experience wasn’t a good one. We sat outside and Ordered appetizer and a Tom yum soup plus 2 entrees. The 2 entrees also comes with a soup and a salad. They brought the 2 entrees out within 10 mins and we waited n waited for our appetizer and the tom yum soup plus the soup n salad that comes with the entrees. 15 mins passed and still nothing so I walked inside And asked if my stuff is coming out anytime soon. My server was serving another table n just walked passed me like it wasn’t nothing. So finally I walked back outside after telling the staffs I still haven’t gotten my appetizer n stuff then another waitress brought it out after another while. Keep in mind I still haven’t receive my soup n salad that comes with the entrees. Well after another while it finally came out. Which I was disappointed because my entrees already gotten cold. We also ordered a chicken red curry to go and I asked the waitress if it comes with rice? She said yes. So when I got my Togo ordered and it was $19.5 I didn’t think anything of it. I told my wife I could’ve sworn it wasn’t that much. We got home n realized she added the white rice for another $3.5 which I didn’t ask for. I assumed it comes with white rice because that’s what she told me. She could’ve asked if I wanted white rice for additional fee. I wouldn’t mind it. Overall my experience wasn’t a good one and the service from my particular waitress was also below par. The busboy and the other waitress that brought me everything else was exceptional. Also the Togo red curry we got was extremely salty…it’s inedible. We ended up tossing it out. Also the tofu from the entrees we got were frozen..not sure if everyone knows this but u should never freeze tofu because it tastes like as* after..try it for yourself.

The ambience is super cool and looks fancy. Basil Fried Rice was good, I could feel the taste when I eat a bite. The chicken was good quality and cooked throughly and I could smell basil leaves when eating.con: the food was oily

We've had great dinners at Nicky's, both downtown and North Side locations, and while at the Arts Festival decided to have lunch there. The food was, as always, delicious and well-prepared. However our server was so horribly inattentive and incompetent that we did not leave a tip. This has happened to us only once, maybe 20-25 years ago, and was well-deserved. I'm not going into details. but what stands out in my mind is that finally, after waiting and waiting and then placing our order, we were talking and our server came up to us, stood at the tableside, and mumbled "uh, have you ordered? Are you ready to order?". Yes, we told him, quite some time ago. Did you put the order in to the kitchen? He looked blank, then said "of course!" and scurried away. Less than 10 minutes later, our meals arrived, and another server brought them. Our original server then reappeared at the end of the meal to give us the check. Other than the "crazy waiter" episode (which is what we all have been calling it), the meal was excellent. Oh, except for the iced tea. It was very light-colored, and very, very weak. Although we asked for black iced tea, this was green iced tea. And it had not been steeped for more than a minute or so because the flavor was not much different than water. Oh, and the server, because we asked for lemon with the tea, brought 2 slices on a separate plate for 4 people... ;)
