The seafood tower is fresh and fun, not my favorite, but my wife enjoyed it very much. The Fried alligator app was very good. The gumbo was above average , my wife thought the Shrimp and grits were wonderful. Desserts were tasty so will definitely go back. Only negative in my opinion the meals are a bit over priced, but isn't everyting nowadays

This place is rad. The happy hour oyster prices are on point! $1-$2. One evening turned into three in a row. All employees were super cool with me. I’d recommend the oysters, char oysters, po boy, and truffle fries; which is everything I tried, lol. I’m sure it’s all good. The place was packed and jamming on a Tuesday evening! Walking in the second time, Rachel knew my entire order and preferences amidst a sea of other customers and their requests. I felt so welcome, especially after not dining out in 1.5 years. Which is why I came back. Go here. Now. Feel good.

great food and great service!

Amazingly Delicious Oysters ~ excellent menu ~ also recommend the fried green tomatoes

I decided to dine at Muddy Waters with family, and I am glad we chose the restaurant. The food was really good, and very similar to the traditional New Orleans cuisine. We had several menu items, and they were all great. The drinks were really good as well. Initially, they thought the oysters were undercooked for chargrilled, but the final taste was really good. There were no complaints about the food. The lobster and crawfish roll had a garlic taste, but was really good. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

The food here was delicious, the gumbo was amazing and the bacon that came with the french toast was also incredible. Did not expect to find such good Cajun food in Pittsburgh!

Muddy Waters was a fantastic surprise! We received a gift card and decided to try it out. We loved everything. The staff was very friendly and the happy hour specials were amazing! $1 and $2 Oysters!!!! Very fresh and authentic food. The cocktails were tasty as well. I would definitely recommend and I know we will be back!

Excellent service and food! Highly recommend!

Truly a delight from the start! The KL Experience has been trying to get to this place for quite some time. When we walked in we new that we were going to do some damage in the food department! We almost wanted to taste everything on the menu. However we settled with some favorites. The starter, EAST COAST WEST COAST OYSTERS with a lovely vinegrette drizzle. An order of Red Beans and Rice with Pork Belly. Fried Alligator/ Sweet potato Corn bread with Apple Butter Spread/ Char Grilled Oysters with Garlic Butter and Parmigiano Cheese/ Deep Fried Red Snapper on a Bed of collard Greens and Creamy Grits OMG!!! Then there was this Champagne Bomb that was so cute!! Everything was cooked to PERFECTION!! Needless to say WE WILL BE RETURNING TOO MUDDY WATERS LOLOLOOLOLOL. Considering all that we ordered we felt that our total was reasonable and close to our usual EXCURSION EXPERIENCE TAB.
