We went to their new location in Cranberry where Millies took over The Meadows Custard who moved to North so we decided to give them a try. The ice cream was not what we were expecting for a homemade ice cream. not very creamy. i had the peanut butter chip. the texture of it tasted like they were using some type of vegan peanut butter or something other than real peanut butter. i also dont believe they are using real cream as the base for their ice cream or their process of creating ice cream needs to be looked at. the ice cream left an odd taste in the mouth. my wife had the double chocolate in a cake cone. she was not impressed with hers either both texture wise and the odd taste it left in her mouth, She said that the cake cone tasted like Styrofoam. how can you mess up a cake cone? maybe its recycled Styrofoam. for what you get its way overpriced and to me it tasted like they are using inferior or vegan type products to produce their product. we wont be back. if thats your thing then give it a try but when i'm paying over $5 for a scoop of ice cream it better be darn good.

Stopped and got ice cream here when we were out at the beach. They have really good ice cream. Had a great variety of ice cream. Will visit again when out there.

Millie's has no competitors. There are other ice cream places in town, but they all compete with each other for second place.PRO TIP: if you truly want a good evening, go get hand-pulled noodles at "Noodlehead" next door and then walk over to Millie's for some ice cream. Usually there is a line (because Millie's is hands down the best ice cream) but that is good because you can talk and digest a little bit to make more room for the ice cream that you're about to rave about. The combination is divine, and you will know flavorful transcendence.

They have vegan options! I have tried the mango which was delicious as well as the raspberry Bellini! My husband had non vegan S'mores and said it was delicious as well. Indoor and outdoor seats. Support the LGBTQIA community.

One of the top spots in Pittsburgh for Ice Cream and Milkshakes. I prefer the milkshakes as they have a better consistency than your average. The variety of flavors that Millie’s rotate depending on the time of year makes it easy to always stop in to try something else

We were there yesterday evening and my friend has a severe peanut allergy. One of the employees (the taller brunette one) really went out of their way to accommodate his allergy. It was really nice! He was nervous to try a new place and they made him feel really comfortable even though it was very busy and the ice cream was super frozen!

This minute establishment was just outside our hotel, so extremely convenient. There seem to be a very small patio/outdoor table area however when we were there this was not in use. There is a decent number of choices, and Small samples were offered for the indecisive, and we were pleasantly unsure of what to choose. I opted for the s’mores flavor which I must say was delightful; the creamy texture was only interrupted by the chocolate chunks but the flavor overall was unique and memorable. My daughter settled on the brownie batter which was a deep rich brown in color, and extremely rich to eat solo— to offset it with a less intense flavor might have been a better option for us. Thumbs up on the very creamy texture I would suggest that a little more umphff be placed on the aesthetics of the dining venue— we almost passed by

1 visit wasn't enough to try all the amazing flavors. Definitely will be back.

Delicious! I got peppermint brownie on a waffle cone. The waffle cone was crispy but fresh, the ice cream had just the right amount of peppermint flavor ratio with the chunks of chewy delicious brownie. My husband got a dairy free mint chip shake. He swears it tasted just like regular ice cream and he loved it. My brother in law got a vanilla shake. He said it was the best vanilla shake he had ever had. The location itself was clean and cute. There weren’t a lot of tables inside, but it’s in a nice neighborhood for walking around once you get your cone. They also have to go pints. They even have a sundae box. ?

husband and I wanted some ice cream while we stayed downtown Pittsburgh, we were pleasantly surprised this place was open after 8pm on Sunday. it hit the spot!
