Malheureusement, I did not enjoy my savory crepe here. All of the baked goods looked great, it was a very cute locaton and the staff was friendly. They also have nice outdoor seating. The crepes look right, but anyone who has had a good Brittany style crepe would be disappointed. I will say that it was better than a place I went to in Montreal that specializes in this style of crepe, the flavor of the batter is better here, they just didn't execute well enough in my opinion. San Francisco had an amazing place called Ti Couz which spoiled me, not to mention a trip to Brittany and having my first crepe at a place that my host ate at for years. I'm sure he knew the best place in the area after vacationing there for so long. Needless to say, my crepe standard is HIGH.The crepe on my complète was thick and tough, it wasn't thin and crisp, but it was hard and crunchy in a couple of very over cooked spots. The egg was over cooked too so I didn't even get the runny yolk to add some moisture and creaminess to the crepe (see the pic, there should be a well of yellow oozing goodness but it is quite solid). The bechemel crepe was a little better because it had some sauce and perhaps the crepe was less over done. The salad on the plate was very nice with the traditional French vinaigrette.I might try again as it could have just been a bad day or the wrong person manning the crepe stand. That would be more likely for me if they were open for dinner because my fave thing to do is get my own savory crepe and split a dessert crepe, but that's a lot of food for breakfast or lunch. Perhaps I'll just pop in for a dessert crepe sometime.I appreciate what they are trying to do, but maybe I was looking forward to this experience too much as I hadn't even known such a place existed in Pittsburgh.C'est la vie
Pretty decent. Run by a French woman so I was excited to get some quality crêpes, but I was disappointed. The crêpes themselves were were just a tad too heavy of a batter to be as airy as the should so they were a bit heavy/dense and had a soggy quality to them. The ones we got were filled, mine was the bechamel and ham and it was soooo full of cheese, it was overwhelming, heavy and and too rich to get even half way through. Each ingredient in the crêpes was itself very quality, but the proportions were not right. The baked goods however were fabulous. Not sure if those are made in house or brought in from elsewhere but we got a piece of a flowerless chocolate cake and it was just right.Overall, it seems this crêperie had good intentions and quality ingredients but is trying to cater to American portions and got lost in the plating.
Second visit, just as amazing as the first! I hope this place sticks around because I want to be a regular. The house mocha is great, not overly sweet, just right!
This crêperie is perfectly cozy and delicious!!!Super friendly, and lovely space to enjoy some food and a coffee with friends, or solo. Highly recommend! ?
What a great experience, highly recommend for any time of day! Can't wait to go again!
The staff are very friendly and the food is divine! Whether you order crepes, coffee, a mocha or a blueberry tart, it's all fresh, delicious and the syrups are all made in-house. C'est magnifique!!
I love this place. It’s locally owned and operated, the staff is friendly and warm, the coffee is terrific and the crapes are to die for. It’s a great place to meet for lunch.
The meal and service was enjoyable; personally I prefer ceramic cups for coffee but they might be using paper cups due to the pandemic.
1st time here! Great ambience & even better food! Will be back 100%
Cute place with very interesting and delicious crepes! Staff was extremely friendly and nice also! Reasonable prices for the quantity!
