Much love in the place... Playing my favorite music... Drinking Sam Adams' Summer Ale on tap... Eating great bar food... Stand in bartender, Justin, was more than most excellent, and a totally righteous dude... Holiday grooves with my sister as my wingman... Way cool atmosphere!
This place is creepy and shady. The bartender Jim, I think that was his name, we believe spiked my friends drink. When she started saying she thought her drink was spiked she, in a completely non-rowdy manner, she was immediately kicked out and forcibly so by Jim. Just seemed very odd because at the time only other women were at the bar, and we hadn’t left our drinks alone. We had one mixed drink each before she started to feel the effects. I called the restaurant to discuss this matter and never received a response after multiple attempts. As a woman, I would never recommend going here.
I like the early hour atmosphere. Good choices of beer/ciders and booze. Good pub food. Cool place
My friends and I (CMU students) stopped by on a Friday night to grab some drinks. The bouncer demanded another form of ID when we all provided VALID driver’s licenses — we are all over 21 — and obviously we didn’t have passports or other IDs on us. We chose to walk away and not confront the bouncer, but the establishment should definitely work on training their bouncers on recognizing fake vs real IDs, especially with POC. Worth noting that our party was 4 Asian-American females.
Great selection of beers (3$ for an IPA and golden ale I chose), and the black bean burger was delightful! Venue seemed a little understaffed, but the busy waitstaff treated us great still.
I don't think a bartender should threaten their customers. They ignored people standing at the bar for 10 mins and was talking to someone instead of waiting on people. If I could give it zero stars I would have

Brunette bartender was smashed, waited 25 minutes for a drink cause she was taking shots, very awful service but it’s typical for a place like that I guess. She then proceeded to point at our table and dance instead of serve the 15 people waiting. Maybe the worst bar experience ever actually
Really fun place to go for a drink! Food is good not great but really solid bar food.
