Ugh. I don’t know what happened, but the experience there today wasn’t good at all. We’ve been going to this location since it opened and have NEVER had an issue. Today tho... yikes. First off, the floor was so gross and covered in crumbs and paper and food. Second, they have glasses for water on the tables now and bring a carafe of water out. The glasses on the table had lipstick prints on them so we didn’t even touch them. They were all dirty looking. When I got my drink I ordered it wasn’t at all what I asked for ( a mint lemonade margarita on the rocks) it was flavorless and tasted like water with mint. The food came out, underwhelming. My salad had two cherry tomatoes cut in half and 2 rings of onions. The fish was cold and the alfalfa sprouts were literally bad. They were wet and mushy underneath and rotting. The kids Mac and cheese even tasted different and it’s usually good. They usually bring out carrots and celery with the kids meals and didn’t even offer it this time. Not sure what the deal was with everything but it was a HUGE let down for a place we usually enjoy. Don’t know if we’ll be going back to that location again. I doubt it. And if the other ones are like this we won’t be going to Mad Mex anymore in general.

Tortilla chips tasted stale. Taco meat was heavily seasoned, but didn’t taste fresh. Disappointing food. Friendly server, but not timely. We’re looking for a better Tex-mex place.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. The service was very lackluster especially for Mad Mex. I have never felt more unwelcome at an establishment with my family. The food was either cold or over cooked. Honestly so disappointed in this experience.

Silverware and glasses were covered in stuck on food. Absolutely filthy. The waitress was extremely slow for everything. The hostess and waitress looked like slobs. For what the price point is on these drinks and food, things should be to a higher standard. Even just making sure the silverware is clean would be a good first step.

I haven’t been to Mad Mex in a while because I hadn’t been a fan as a kid. I was really pleasantly surprised on my trip last week and enjoyed myself so much that I hope to come back soon. I had crispy fish tacos that were delicious and a delightful house sangria. I just wish I liked the salsa more - it’s chunky rather than blended, and I prefer a smooth salsa.

The wings were hard and dry!! Never again!!

It was gobblerito day and I really enjoyed the thanksgiving burrito in april after all the Easter foods. Had the black bean dip for appetizer with my family. Neither disappointed ?

I love leaving a restaurant not feeling hungry, in this case, it’s because I lost my appetite after one bite. The food was not as expected, the first bite of taco was ice cold. The beans and rice are flavorless. I asked that the meal I didn’t eat be taken off the bill and I was completely ignored. I’ve tried to give this place a second chance but I will never be coming back.

Service was excellent, company was exceptional but the food was just par tonight. I usually go for lunch and order the pennsylvania fries which is fried tofu in a chili sauce but I wanted to try something new. I order their chimichanga which is not the best in town but I can say if you want to go for happy hour drinks are off the chain.

Stopped in for a quick lunch during a hockey tournament. Good eats with lots of vegan/veggie options. I'm not a vegan, but play one on TV.
