I’ll start off by saying the food was very good - we had veal parm, the shrimp special and fried cannolis, but our dining experience was terrible. First off, when we arrived the hostess asked if we needed our wine opened, and when I pointed out it was a screw top she yelled out “cheater wine” as we were being taken to our table. And then we were charged an $8 corkage fee because the waitress brought us 2 wine glasses! The reason for the poor rating was the experience, which felt more like a diner than fine dining. Our entrees were brought out before we had finished our salads, the waitress interrupted conversations to see “how we were doing” on multiple occasions, the acoustics were terrible and we heard the specials repeated about 4 times as other guests were seated, we felt like we were being rushed despite there being available tables and there was also a 10% “Supply Chain Disruptions” service fee tacked on to the bill in addition to the ridiculous corkage fee (that’s $17 total in additional fees), so despite the food tasting good, we were left with a very bad taste based on the experience.
Made reservations for dinner for 6pm April 23, 2022. We were seated right away. Restaurant was very busy, wait staff are prompt, efficient and helpful in making suggestions for meals. Restaurant very clean. We ordered an appetizer of smoked mozzarella, roasted red peppers, artichokes on a flat bread, very good. We each had a fresh salad with balsamic dressing and was very fresh. Bread with dipping oil was also served. I ordered a special of the day which was smoked ricotta ravioli in a cream sauce with blackened salmon and shrimp; EXCELLENT! My husband ordered the blackened shrimp with ziti, and he loved it. We were too full to enjoy dessert so we were provided with tasty pieces of homemade peanut butter and chocolate fudge. It is important to note there is a charge placed on your bill called a Covid charge. We were surprised but certainly understand the struggles restaurants have had with staffing issues, updated cleaning and masking policies etc. Support your local eateries! All in all it was a pleasant evening and an excellent dinner. Highly recommend. P.S. it is a BYOB establishment.
Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants we have been to! Quick service and amazing staff. Couldn’t recommend them enough!!
So many good things to say about this restaurant! The beans and greens with added sausage.. best I’ve ever had! The chicken scallopini! Crisp and delicious with mushrooms, spinach, carrots. Served with mashed potatoes but I may ask for spaghetti next time! Leave room for dessert!! The cakes are ridiculous! Not too sweet, light and fluffy layers. Perfection! The fried cannoli were so so. It’s BYOB and there is a per person corkage fee. If you have a designated driver make it known or you’ll be charged for them. But the waitstaff are friendly and great at suggestions if you are undecided. Great Saturday night out!

I love this restaurant. It’s charming and the food is outstanding. The servers are friendly and efficient!!!
My dear friend Linda and I enjoyed a very nice dinner here last evening. All of a sudden my friend became overheated and fainted. The ladies were so kind and compassionate. They helped tend to my friend and helped make a rough situation easier to manage. They even called today to check on my friend. Great food, kind souls, and super delicious pie. Support this lovely business.
Love their pickles on the chicken club sandwich. They give you plenty you get your moneys worth. Spaghetti and one large meat ball is great too. We live in WV and stop in there when daughter has appointment at her drs. We even brought the spaghetti meal home to my grandson. Was great even warmed up.
This is a very small but cute space and it’s BYOB! Food was very good. We had the Spots Romano and Veal & Peppers. Both were well prepared but little things diminished the overall experience. Parking is difficult in that area so we had to pay $7 at the AGH parking garage. Our waitress told us how good the Caesar salad was for a “small up charge”. We both ordered one but it was a plate full of leafy lettuce with Parm cheese and 2 kalamata olives for another $3 each. Then I asked for pasta instead of mashed potatoes. That up charge cost $4. The final straw came when we received our bill and there was a $5.99 “Covid 19 Service Fee”. What the heck!? Not sure how they have the nerve to charge that. The least they could have done was tell you about it up front. All those extras added up and could have paid for another meal. It was good but not that good.
My wife and I have always enjoyed The Legends Eatery. This was our first visit back since the pandemic. What a treat. As usual, we enjoyed the warm hospitality, great service, and our meals.
