As seen on TV! Breakfast and lunch only diner. Ordered an Arnold Palmer, came with wonderful delineation between tea and lemonade.Wheelchair accessible.
if you’re ever in pittsburgh you HAVE TO eat breakfast here. the food portions are pretty big so you get the bang for your buck and it’s really freaking scrumptious and delicious. they have TONS of options which made it hard to choose what to eat because everything sounded so good. the service was also out of this world with out stellar waitress, Tia, who was so attentive and sweet and quick with everything!!!!!!!! :) come eat here and pray that Tia is your waitress!!!!!
We stopped by on a whim and lemme tell you...best whim of the year. Steak and eggs and corned beef hash and eggs - I usually take a before picture, but this time all I got was the aftermath. Fast, friendly service, amazing food, great prices. Can't wait to go back.
One of the best diner's in the burgh. The staff is so friendly, they make you feel like life long family (the good kind ?) The food is spectacular and the service is lightning fast. Always one of my go to spots for a good breakfast or brunch. A+ 5 stars!
This place absolutely rocks!!! Staff is super friendly. The food is amazing and the owner is 1 of a kind! You have to go here if you are in Pittsburgh!
Let me start off by saying it's my birthday AND I am a Disabled Veteran.I went to Kelly O's in Pittsburgh's historic Strip District this morning because I happened to pop up at 5am and the restaurant opens at 6am.I decided on my way I wanted a huge breakfast to start my day my order was: special of the day shrimp and grits...2 eggs over medium...side of ham...side of biscuits and sausage gravy....coffee and water.Let's start with the coffee it had the disgustingly burned/stale taste to it for which they offered to prepare a fresh pot.....I arrived approximately 45 minutes after opening how could the coffee not be fresh?Next one would think when a restaurant features a food that specialty item would be exceptional with the shrimp and grits this was not the case the sauce was extremely bland and flavorless the shrimp was slightly under cooked and the temperature of the grits were lukewarm at best. The ham was visually dry and there was nothing succulent or enjoyable about it.When you think sausage gravy you think hearty and well it was flavorless and tasted like it was poured from the can into a pot and poured over the biscuits.I summoned the waitress over and gave back the shrimp and grits the ham and the biscuits and sausage gravy and explained the situation with each. She NEVER EVEN OFFERED to have my food re-prepared instead she immediately apologized and said that she would arrange that I received 20% off my meal. Now you might say...20% off is better than nothing at all....and logic dictates I would agree....however why should one have to pay ANYTHING for food that was poorly prepared and not consumed? After all....it is my birthday.....AND I am a Disabled Veteran!Kelly O's.....is this how you treat your Veterans??????I will not be going there again....too many other options in Pittsburgh to have to roll the dice and suffer through another possible bad experience!Happy birthday to me!
Excellent service all around. Fast and delicious food. Will definitely return!
Kelly O's is an awesome breakfast place. Every time I order eggs whether over easy or sunny side up, they're made perfect. Love having it over corned beef with the string potatoes, don't forget to add in the fresh onions and peppers. The onions and peppers are diced small so they go great with every bite of food.Whether you're into the Pittsbugh special featuring eggs, perogies, and so much other stuff that makes the Burgh famous, you'll find something to appease the simple you or the go crazy breakfast eater.
Had breakfast with friends this morning in Warrendale - party of 4. Arrived around 8:30. Service was great. Food was great. We were there approx 40 minutes and were asked to leave very abruptly because they were busy. We felt our positive experience was now negative. Never have I been asked to leave a restaurant due to other customers arriving. As we left, we noticed there were 2 tables of 4 and a table of 2 empty. I will not be planning to return. Very rude to us after we spent approx $75 for breakfast.
I ate breakfast at Kelly O's in Warrendale on a Sunday The food was very fresh and plenty. The place was packed yet The crowd was very respectful and smiling they know the food is delicious and the servers smile and have small talk with everybody which sets this diner as No #1
