We sat upstairs. First table in. Very hectic as that is where both food and drink delivery and bussing originate. Too many servers and support staff for small room. This table should be removed and possibly everyone could enjoy less traffic and a more relaxed experience.
The food was very fine. The steak excellent, the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat pretty good, the pasta with spinach side excellent. Tiramisu good. We had a really great server. A bit overpriced. Very quiet, so we could talk!
Intimate, quiet space. Owner was very welcoming. Waitstaff was incredible. She was very knowledgeable about menu. Didnât feel rushed. Food was outstanding. Authentic. Large portions! Left with a large doggie bag. Whether you want a steak or a big piece of eggplant parmigiana there is something for everyone. The burrata beet salad was delicious. Save room for dessert or at least share one because the vanilla pound cake with butterscotch and pecans was out of this world.
We had a fabulous waitress in training.She was fantastic, funny and provided top-notch service. We loved her. Also the waiter training her was by far the nicest guy. The Italian cuisine is authentic made with quality ingredients. The portions are generous without being over the top. The menu has many inventive specials that can appeal to many tastes. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have a high end Italian food experience.
A favorite place for grew food

Joseph Tambellini used to be a fine dining experience. Not any more. Minuscule cocktails, so-so service and uninspiring food. We used to go here frequently pre-pandemic. This was our first time in a long time. We will not go back.
