Enjoyed dinner here on a trip to visit family. The waitress was attentive without hovering. The food was delicious-- I especially recommend the Ruby Chicken and the Dim Sum. The Tsunami martini was very strong Based on the outside of the restaurant I was not expecting much but the quality of the food is above average. I would certainly consider dining here again the next time I am in town.
Stopped in for lunch today. I’ve never been before. The restaurant is very nice. The staff was amazing. I’m on crutches and the hostess who sat us was very accommodating and kind. Our waiter was Greg and he was awesome. Food was delicious. It was nice and cozy and not very busy at all. We enjoyed the meal and the conversation. Had the general Tsos chicken, shrimp fried rice, crab Rangoon and chicken teriyaki.
So the food was okay. I've had better gluten free dumplings. They were gummy without much flavor. The shopping sauce included upset my stomach upon consumption. The nigiri was $5 per piece normally I get 2 pieces for that at least. The price here is very expensive for what they serve and you get so much less than other places that have close price points. The inside looked very nice and they seemed very friendly. I can't judge their service though because I got take out.But based on the prices and quality of the food. I'm not wasting my money to go back.
Have enjoyed J Wan's quite well in the past, and food is always at least above average. But service was somewhat abrupt this last time, even allowing for staffing challenges these days, and some dishes are priced too high.
My husband and I ate here for the first time last weekend. It was busy but we were still served in a timely manner. The food was super delicious. My eggdrop soup was some of the freshest tasting I have ever had. My only complaint is that I was not aware the shrimp and scallop meal was breaded. It was still good but I usually don't get breaded items. Either way, delicious food and will go back for sure!
We had a business dinner there and the service was excellent. We had six people and decided to do a family style dinner and shared lots of appetizers and main dishes. A great way to sample some items you may not ordinarily order. The food was excellent as always and I particularly enjoyed a number of the dumplings!
Jimmy Wan's is our favorite Asian restaurant in the world. We moved out of state 4 years ago and we are always disappointed in the selection of Asian restaurants. Jimmy Wan's is always the first restaurant we visit when we are in the Pittsburgh area.
Great meal, speedy service. Prices were a bit much for me but we did get a lot of food!
I did dine in. This place by far is not the same as your usuals Chinese restaurant the portions are huge and the shrimp fried rice is served with shrimp the size of my 7 year olds palm. Great food for a great price.
Jimmy Wans never disappoints. We had dinner with appetizers, and everything we ordered was so delicious and hot. We have had carryout, but we absolutely loved dining in. We'll be back, Jimmy Wans! And, thank you for a wonderful evening and amazing dinner!❤
