Great local spot we happened upon while visiting the area. The cinnamon roll pancakes were to die for! Loved the kielbasa and homefries as well. Definitely recommend.
All I can say is wow. Incredible quality - Eggs Benedict w/ crab was just too good! Real crabmeat. The Monetcristo sandwich is the best breakfast sandwich I've ever tasted! They also write endearing messages on their boxes in thanks of support! Will be ordering a ton!
This is my first time trying this place and I’m very satisfied. Got the mushroom Swiss cheeseburger and my daughter got pancakes w/strawberries and bananas and bacon. Definitely will try everything on the menu eventually.
Food was awesome. Serve all meals all day. Service excellent and cheerfull. Highly recommend.
got them delivered through Uber eats for the first time and i unfortunately don’t have any pictures of the food cause that’s how fast it was devoured but trust me when i say it was soooo delicious!!! ❤️? they also wrote on each take away container thank you for supporting our dream and i thought that was so incredibly thoughtful and sweet! will definitely order from again!
Fantastic, local breakfast! We were visiting and looking for somewhere local with mom and pop vibes. The food was the best breakfast food I have had in a long time. Very flavorful, while being simple and well made. Great service as well. Definitely try the iced coffee with coffee ice cubes. Would totally love to come back or it would be my go to spot if I was local!
I just moved to Mt Washington and have been to J&J's twice so far, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both times I had incredible food, this is an old school Pgh family owned neighborhood diner. Everything is homemade, their biscuits and gravy are delicious. I also had a jalapeno and cheddar burger that was amazing. They give you a stupid amount of fries too. haha Next time I'll take a photo of the food. Great food at a great price - what more can be said?
We stopped in for lunch. The service and food were great !! I love small family owned diners and such , this one will stay on my list of places to return too. Great staff and food !!!
Excellent food and service every time. Only problem is no dedicated parking. Honey crab poached egg benedict is worth the trip. Or the Monte Cristo sandwich
Can’t go wrong with J & J’s! Great, family friendly atmosphere, and even better food and staff to go with it. The Scrambowl is my favorite! ?
