This Ihop is under new management as of last week they have some areas as far as staffing goes however I noticed the changes!!!!! Great job guys we will be back❤️
they were short staffed but we never knew til the end. our waitress was very pleasant and everything was great!!!
The food is good and done correctly every time. The service, however, is horrible. My family and I have given IHOP multiple chances using their curbside, dine-in, and takeout options ever since they have opened. There is a long wait for anything and everything, from getting seated to simply getting some more napkins. We recently got curbside and waited 10 minutes in the parking spot before coming in and waiting 10 more minutes for them to get our food. By the time we got our food, it had been almost an hour after we ordered. They had plated the food for dine-in rather than package it for curbside. I was not offered any discount or compensation for the hassle. Other times, even during Covid with no other customers for dine-in, there was always an issue with time management. IHOP needs to seriously look at their management style, as other competing restaurants in the area with the same food have better management and timing than this establishment. I have other plans going on, which is why I chose curbside in the first place. Their poor time management has caused my plans to be severly delayed.
HORRIBLE service. We waited so long for our food that we almost paid for our beverages and left to go elsewhere before our meal finally arrived. My daughter said her crepes must have sat for a while prior to being brought out because the whipped cream on her crepes was nearly melted off by the time she got them. And as you can see on my receipt, there is a .99 charge for every individual item in the CYO (create your own) Omelet, which means the eggs alone cost $8.49 (total of $12.49 for a veggie omelet).I gave this restaurant 1 star in order to be able write the review, otherwise it would have gotten zero stars. We will NOT be back.
I'm a flight attendant staying in the hotel next door. I ordered online at the wrong location (Browns Hill Rd). They would not cancel the order after I called to tell them what had happened. So I came here & they were SO helpful. They replaced the order for me. I am so very grateful. Also, as I was waiting for my order every single staff member who saw me asked if I'd been helped. Thank you.
Alright, let me start by saying help is hard to find everywhere since COVID. Service will depend heavily on the "server" (waiter, waitress, etc.). Also, management and the "Higher ups" have a significant roll in making it work. This review will be based with the above mentioned in mind! Arriving to the IHOP there was some confusion while entering this establishment of who was waiting to pick up food and who was waiting to be seated. (Remedy this situation by consistently having the host or hostess check the door and inform customers about how long the wait might be and direct those waiting for pickup to wait on an opposite side, signs could help if used). It wasn't completely packed which was confusing for a 20 minute wait for a seat. (When seats are available, promptly get your customers seated as a congested entry way will force customers entering to think there is a much longer wait and make them go somewhere else) Once I was seated, I waited another 15 minutes without any coffee or water or drink of any kind. The waitress acknowledged me with a, "Sorry, I will be with you shortly" at least twice in passing. (When you [server] are too busy, take a moment to at least get the drinks for your customer, there was just me so it wouldn't take but a minute) ******HASTE MAKES WASTE**** Once the server waited on me, my order was ready. Stack of butter milk pancakes, coffee with half & half, and a water. She brought me coffee with no cream [another 10 minute wait on that] and a water. The half & half finally arrived after my order of pancakes got delivered to the table. (Always good to have everything ready especially to a customer who waited for his drink then waited for the other part of his drink, half & half). [Poor prior planning equals piss poor results] I am not certain how the training protocol stands for IHOP nowadays. I can only hope this review can positively motivate management to recalibrate the service provided. Now I am waiting to get rung out ? REMEMBER : As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17
Food was good, but we had waited forever for service. Some folks arrived after we did and were served faster than we were. The kicker was that not many people were there. I understand the staff shortage is going on, but good customer service is still appreciated.
It was super busy on a Sunday around church let out time and they were able to get us, a family of 5, seated in under 20 minutes! Our server was absolutely amazing, she didn't write a single order down and didn't screw a single thing up... magic. The bathroom was kind of gross so I was happy we used them at the end lol but our food was good and all in all had a great experience here!
Normally, I have a great experience at any IHOP. But on this visit, it took around five minutes before we were even acknowledged. Also, when I went to the bathroom, there was no soap at all in either dispenser. This was around 10am so they couldn't have run out yet.
Our server Myah was great, very pleasant and attentive, even though she was the only one on the floor. Our food was tasty, hot, and fresh.
