Went to dinner there with my husband. We have been there before and had thoroughly enjoyed each experience. This time, I was dropped off at the door by my husband while I get our names on the reservation list as they were busy. We could handle a 45 min wait. I was greeted with a nice young host who was taking names and phone numbers for the waitlist. I put my name down but decided to wait at the entrance for my husband to come back and decide. The few minutes that I was waiting, a gentleman came out and started to scream at this young host about letting people inside the restaurant. I did not catch this at first since the guy spoke loud and fast (loud as in screaming but trying to compose). Then another group of people walked in the restaurant. The guy came out again and screamed at this poor host "I TOLD YOU NOT TO LET PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT! WE ARE TOO FULL!!" I am confused as I am not sure if they are locking doors or what they are doing or how their system works. My husband joins me and we both decided to walk in since it was about 19 degrees outside. The same guy saw me walk in....went back out....screamed at this kid (the host)....and turned to myself and my husband and screamed "GET OUT" in front of the other people that was in the lobby and he followed us out of the door....There were barely anybody waiting in that lobby and the bench was not even full. The two of us were able to fit in the ample space that they already have provided for groups of people. I think these same people own the Cranberry location as well. We will live without this experience and will never be returning again to either location. ???..... I also forgot to mention that the guy that was screaming at his staff had blood dripping down his right cheek...I am going to assume he didn't know.....I am sure he wouldn't care enough to listen if anyone tried to tell him....Not really a good look for a food handler...
The manager at this place is a total disaster. Yells at staff non-stop, in front of customers, and yells at customers. He kicked my wife and I out while we were waiting for a table because he said it was too crowded, though we were seated on the bench and there was plenty of room for even more people. He then proceeded to follow us out and then yell, once again, at the kid signing people in. He obviously can't handle his job. Will never go there again.

We have been eating at this Ichiban location for over 10 years, but after our experience this evening, we will never return. I am absolutely appalled at the treatment I received from the manager over our disgusting food. Here is what happened: We ordered takeout as usual, and when I got home, I prepared my daughters children's meal to eat, and once she was all set, my wife and I began to open our meals. When we both opened our containers we were met with the most foul odor you can imagine. Think of a mix between disgusting body odor and smelly old socks. The smell seemed to be coming from the shrimp, which didn't even look appetizing or edible. We tried to eat some of our steak (both of which were way overcooked) and tasted like boiled meat more than something cooked "hibachi" style on a grill. The fried rice was stuck together and mushy. After eating only a little of our food, my wife began to feel bad, and shortly after my stomach became very upset. We immediately stopped our daughter from eating hers and I called the restaurant to talk to the manager. When I called, the only thing I wanted was a future "credit" for us equivalent to the cost of what the two shrimp sides cost (figure $15 total). The manager refused and told me that I was probably lying, ate the entire meal, and now want it for free. He then told me "if you want to discuss anything regarding a refund, you must bring the food back". I was shocked and floored. I had to drive 30 minutes BACK to Ichiban, where the manager made me repeat everything SIX times in a row about what was wrong. I was furious. He absolutely refused a refund, offered to re-cook the SAME food, offered a small credit for a future visit, but no monetary refund. Only after much back and forth did he finally agree to a full refund. I understand the restaurant was crazy busy, with people at the bar, tables filled, and huge crowds waiting to be seated, but to make someone with a small child and a wife that is now feeling ill from their food, drive 30 minutes each way with disgusting smelly shrimp in the car is way past "acceptable" in my book. I will NEVER go back to Ichiban again, and I advise everyone else to stay away as well, unless you want to get sick. Terrible food. Terrible manager. CHEAP!

Worst experience ever. The so called chef that prepared our food was so rude. Food was okay but he kept getting our orders mixed up. There were 7 at our station and he should have been able to keep it straight. At one point he even got super nasty with my granddaughter whose birthday we were celebrating. Informed the manager and he did reluctantly take a few dollars off our bill. Will not be returning to this location.
This place had the worst sashimi I've ever eaten. The fish was frozen and tasted off. The waitress complained that we were sitting at a hibachi bar without getting hibachi. We were seated there by the host.
