Love it as a student years ago. Always ordered Chengdu Spicy Chicken, and dry pot with intestines. Spicy and delicious.

I highly recommend you try the Chongqing dry hot chicken. The staff are always kind. 5 stars would recommend to anyone.

It just getting more than worse since the owner has changed, the woman at the front desk was rude and impatient. I was picking up a to go order, and trying to find mine at the desk, she just yelled at me “stop, don’t touch”. Okay I can tell from her accent that she speaks Chinese, so I tried to communicate with her in Chinese, and she responded in English with the “cute” accent, I don’t understand why is that, showing off that she can speak English in US?

Not your typical American Chinese restaurant, although they do have that if you are interested. I come here for the authentic Szechuan cuisine that they offer. My hands down favorite dish is La Zi Ji (辣子鸡) which is often listed as "Dry/Crispy Hot Chicken". This dish is a Szechuan specialty that I've had here, in San Francisco, and New York. I've yet to try the dish in China, but amongst the American facsimiles that I've had, this is the best one. One note that I will say is that on a recent visit this dish was quite a bit sweeter than it has been in the past, I'm not sure if it was just an off day or what the difference was, but it was better when it wasn't as sweet. In addition to the La Zi Ji, I always order the Dry Sautéed Green Beans with Pork (干煸四季豆). These green beans remain remarkably crispy, but they are also cooked through with a good amount of saltiness. You can order them without the pork if you are looking for a vegetarian option, but the pork adds a really nice flavor.Lastly, when I have someone with me that can take the heat, I order the Spicy Fish Soup (水煮鱼). This is a very hot dish and can challenge the most capsaicin tolerant eaters, but it is so good. Unfortunately, they only seem to have one portion size of this soup, and it is enough for 4 or more people to enjoy in my experience. I have ordered it when there are just 2 folks that are eating, but I always end up taking some home, and this is one soup that is best when it is fresh out of the kitchen in my opinion. So in summary, this is some of the most authentic Szechuan food that I've encountered in the US. Someone that is more experienced in Szechuan food than I am can speak more to the authenticity, but for me I don't go anywhere else.

Absolute problem with the attitude against the Asian and Chinese people. I am with my friend who are local in Pittsburgh and treated completely differently while my friend or me take orders. Keep ignoring me and constantly give me an aggressive looking while my friend comes later and checks everything. They shift to normal cycle. My friend even asks that why does they do this and they pretend not hear this. I don’t what is going on, but if you guys do hate your own ethnicity or hate serving Chinese food to Chinese people. Maybe you should not open restaurants in squirrel hill where celebrates the diversity here with Jewish, Asian and African American and other cultures. It is one shame to see such an business still going on in this loving neighborhood. I sincerely hope you guys leave and find the perfect place which racism are okay for you, ironically being an Asian owner.

The general tso chicken was melt in your mouth tender. Which is good and has a ton of flavor but I still like a little chew in my meat. But was still very tastyThe crab Rangoon had a lot of filling and was very good. The tips were a little over fried but for as much filling as they had. I wouldn't say it's a bad thing.I had a Taro bubble tea with rainbow jelly. The taro tea was fantastic. The jellies were nice and light and the tapioca balls had a nice chew. The drink was great.Over all I'd recommend this place pretty well.

I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews but unfortunately I was disappointed. This restaurant features Many Traditional Asian and authentic Szechuan inspired dishes. When I looked at the menu I was amazed to see many traditional Chinese dishes. Since this was my first visit I decided to stick to the food that are considered as “Chinese food” to the average American. I order the Crab Rangoon, beef and broccoli, and the triple delight. To my surprise the food was extremely bland and cold and the crab Rangoon was extremely stale. To say the crab Rangoon was stale is an understatement, i could literally used it as a jack stand to hold my full sized sedan as i change the brakes. The egg roll was essentially a cabbage roll since all it consisted of was a lot of black pepper, salt and cabbage, this was hardly edible. The best thing I got with my order may have been the Coca Cola everything else is was just a big disappointment. I might give this restaurant another try if the one steel Rangoon I swallowed doesn’t cause colon blockage and kill me.

This is my favorite Chinese place in Pittsburgh. They have an authentic Sichuan menu and I would definitely recommend ordering off of it. My favorite dish I'd the Chongqing dry fried chicken. It is so spice. There is literally no way to adjust the heat of this dish, so if you do not like really spicy food, do not order this dish. I also like their sauteed bok choy or the sauteed yok choy.

Chicken Lol Meim combo was amazing! Clean, good service! Highly recommend!!!

Went in for New Year's Eve. First they screwed up my order after waiting almost half an hour. They were also super rude. I sat down at a table to wait for my order, and one of the employees forced me out of my table in a very impolite manner to put doordash orders on the table. Needless to say, their food is below average and I recommend anywhere else for your chinese food.
