This place was a wonderful surprise. It's a little divie yes, but worth it. Some of the best food around.

I feel like going to my home and eating fresh Nepali khana set, including rice, dal, chicken curry, aachar, papad, and desserts! So, my simple review for Himali Kitchen is a must-go place for those who want to authentic Nepali thali set!!!

This is by far the best and most authentic Nepali and Indian food in Pittsburgh! They are not only the most humble and friendly people, but the food is cooked to perfection, everything is consistently delicious and flavorful no matter what day you go there. You can taste the quality and freshness in every bite. And it’s actually spicy if you ask them to make it spicy! My wife is Bengali and after the first time we tried Himali Kitchen, this is where my wife and I love to eat every chance we get! We love this restaurant so much and try to tell anyone we can about it because it is really SO GOOD!This is where I recommend everyone I talk to to go for amazing Indian food, and I’m 100% sure if you try it you’ll be coming back again and again too!

I was blown away by how good the steamed veggie Jhol Momo is. The lentil soup might be one of the best soups I’ve ever had—and I don’t usually like lentil soup! Our server was very friendly and helped suggest items on the menu.

Everything is delicious there. MomoS were all good, adequate spice, both fried and steamed great. Lo mein and thali was good, take out biryani was good and chicken sukuti was amazing, one of best I have ever had. Tea was too sweet, that's only think bad

It’s different for me . A whole new experience, I have tried Indian food before and turned away , but something always drew my attention to it love the smells and stuff, well I gave it another shot here . They are small but work very well and fast for what they got . And I tell you what the food was awesome , I got the fried chicken monos and lamb rice byrin I think . And the young man up front was easy to deal with well mannered, gave me tips on how to get the best experience from the dishes . Like deff had a good experience . Will come again.

I see mixed reviews on here, which surprised me. My wife and I only had this once so far, and she isn't big on Indian or nepali food the way I am, but we were both pleasantly surprised. Order online said 25 minutes, we got there in 15 and it was ready to go.Inside seemed clean enough for my standards, and the smell was so comforting. I love the smell of this style food, its like aroma therapy. As for consistency, as I said it is only my first time, but definitely would go back. We got pani puri which we were a bit mixed if we liked, but it was cooked just fine. The butter chicken and jhol momo were to die for. The man at the counter seemed excited that I came in to pick up today, I know I was. Hope they keep this up, definitely better than the 1 star reviews I see.

We ordered 2 thali plate pork and chicken to go and when we were eating the food has no taste and NO SALT AT ALL ON EVERY SINGLE FOOD!!!If you are trying to keep ur business running then try to cook better and taste before u serve ur customers!Do not recommend this restaurant at all because they don’t check twice before giving food without salt.

First time ordering and was very pleasantly surprised. Great favors. If you like spicy food, definitely get the chili momo. Who doesn't''t love a good dumpling? Loved the paneer tika & chau-chau was well. Will me the first of many orders to come. Thanks for a good meal.

Dishes are inconsistent depending on who is cooking, but the quality is good. Nice range of Nepalese foods and a few Indian options - probably the best option for either in the neighborhood.
