Absolute garbage. No songs, difficult system to use, no alcohol allowed...don't waste your time or money, go to kbox in oakland.

Great place but the rooms are sometimes too warm

Half the songs aren't in English, the bar was dark, not a single light on... it was an experience to say the least

My friends and I had an awful experience there. The owner yelled at us for not making a reservation, and then he proceeded to yell us again later. The atmosphere was unprofessional and unwelcoming. I strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

It's a good place for friends and family to hang out and sing songs together. They have great equipments and service.

Poorly run establishment. You will receive unexpected charges when it is time to cash out. Also, the drinks are half size, yet full price. So if you enjoy paying $8 for two sips, have a great time. If you have common sense, go ahead and try somewhere else.

Great fun and drinks to celebrate a 29th birthday. Lots of fun

Although I do agree that the rooms and atmosphere are very nice at this location, I left with several frustrations. First of all, my friend reserved a room starting at 5 pm (which is when the location opens), but when we arrived, the doors were locked. We called the number listed and were told that the manager was still 20 minutes away. Once we got a room, we found the song database very difficult to search through. Often we would search by song title without finding anything, but then if we searched by artist, the song would show up. The range of artists and song choices were also very limited. Still, I don’t think I would have taken the time to leave a negative review if it hadn’t been for this last issue. On the website, the cost is listed as $5 per person per hour. Yet when we received the check, our fee was at least twice as much as expected (possibly three times as much, as I’m not sure of the starting time that he entered). When I pointed out to him that this cost wasn’t as advertised, he simply shrugged and said it was a holiday rate. Businesses have a right to charge for their services, yes. But they have an obligation to the customer to communicate their fees openly and honestly by clearly posting holiday dates and fees.

It's really hard to search for specific songs. The 'search' feature doesn't return very many results and you end up scrolling through all of the artist options that are sort of, but not quite, in alphabetical order. It's good if you don't care what you sing (or are looking for a good Chinese selection) but frustrating if you want specific English, Korean, or Japanese songs.

Great place, great service
