I used to hang at this pub in the 90s. I recently stopped by and I love the" unique gummy worm "mixed drink selection there were so many delicious combinations to choose from and very fair prices. The staff were very friendly. Great clean atmosphere but the ladies bathroom is still too tiny. My friend loved the fish taco. I cant wait to stop by again and get a different drink with gummies worms. ? I love the upbeat atmosphere ?????❤

They have gr8 nacho chili fries something something baba ganoish... I'd drink here again they got that good good pickle juice
The staff working there are very polite and professional especially the waitresses. The main issue is they need to add a foosball table or a pool, and the place is somewhat small for the amount of people that get there. So, it might feel claustrophobic
Super crowed before an event...so only drinks were available. Service was slow but this could be explained by the volume. This is truly a staple in Oakland and one of the last true college bars. It has been there for decades and for good reasons. Food is generally quality bar food and the prices on drinks are great.
Great service. Food was delicious and better than basic bar grub. All reasonably priced. Solid atmosphere too. Hard to beat a chill, bar atmosphere like this.
Great location in Oakland, with rotating specials on their pitcher drinks. I'll have to try the food next time, but great spot for cheap drinks!
Nice crowd for karaoke with Laurel. Quite a few variations of a grilled cheese sandwich. The one with spinach was very good.
Always a Good Time and Great Food
It took awhile to get some service, but when we did, it was good. My suggestion is to walk up to the bar if you don't look like a college student enough. We came on music trivia night, but a bit too late to join, but it looked fun! Their $5 drink was a good deal, which was like a pitcher of liquor, and sour patch watermelon, which I thought looked like lucky charms (this was before I started to drink)! Easy access from Uber, and a great college hangout!
