Delicious to the eyes and to the mouth. I'm not a big sweets person but loved the la poire and lemon macaron. They werent too sweet and a little tart and nicely creamy. The Royale was very chocolatey and rich while not super sweet either. The chouquettes were light and airy-buttery and chewy. Not my favorite, but not bad. The canelé was interestingly crunchy outside with almost a bread pudding like moistness inside. The Nutella macron was a bit too sweet for my taste. The coffee macaron tasted creamy and sweet akin to coffee ice cream.
I love their macarons and their baguettes, but it is their pastries that I crave the most. I don't live close enough to enjoy them very often, so every time I visit Pittsburgh I stop in at their store in Squirrel Hill. That is the original location, and they probably have the most selection there.

Really good. Almond. Sweet. Delicate. I must say i like Macroon Bar in E Liberty better but not by much. I'd get these again!
Has something ever been so good that you have put your health at risk for it? For me, this is it.The dessert pastries are the best I have found anywhere. The details and effort can be seen in how they decorate the desserts and the thoughtful touches they put inside to layer the flavors.I particularly like the desserts with fruit because they balance the flavors and they are the prettiest things you will eat.
The macaron selection is vast and they are all very well executed. The pastry selection is also quite large. I love to surprise my family with a custom cake on special occasions from Gaby. There are staple items on their menu and seasonal rotations as well. I used to work here and it was always a treat to come to work <3 To be noted, I do feel like their coffee program could use a bit more development.
Some of the best pastries I've ever had. The La Pomme is like a small apple pie with a creamy garnish. The shamrocks hidden aspect is that you would expect it to taste like mint but it actually tastes like a sweet cream coffee. We wish we would have had time to try more!
