I tried this place for lunch and was very disappointed. It had a solid rating, so I figured it would be worth the stop. My panini sandwich wasn’t hot enough to melt any of the cheese. It was mostly bread with some burn lines on the top. My coworker ordered a chicken sandwich that looked like a few things tossed into a roll, again nothing hot enough to melt even the American cheese.
While driving to Fredo's and finding a parking spot is a challenge, once you get settled in, Fredo's is a nice spot with good food from the Balkan region of Europe. Cevapi sammich was ?!!!
Great place! Hard to believe we’ve been enjoying meals from Fredo’s for than a decade! You can not go wrong here, food made fresh and delicious!Do yourself a favor and go straight to the house specials, everything there will make you fall in love and keep coming back for more!
I strongly recommend checking out the small variety of foreign snacks/drinks sold here as well. They go along nicely with a meal of cevapi, which is a Bosnian staple that meat lovers will enjoy. As for everything else, the sandwiches are great for lunches and you're bound to be pleasantly surprised if you're looking for something unique in the Dormont area.

We were in Dormont visiting our son and daughter-in-law and most importantly our brand new granddaughter, we decided to try this local deli because it was within walking distance. Well, we were all pleasantly surprised at the experience. My daughter-in-law loved her godfather sandwich and fries, my wife and son loved their mediterranean veggie panini, but everyone including me, loved the incredibly well prepared chicken parmigiana hoagie. It’s probably a safe bet that anything on the menuhere is terrific. The restaurant was super clean and the staff were nice, helpful and friendly! Can’t wait to visit again! Yum yum!!!!!!!
Fredo’s Is my go to for lunch!!! Great sandwiches and amazing cured meats!! Prices are great and service is even better!!!
