This was my first time eating here. The place is amazing with upbeat atmosphere, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive even though they were short staffed. I would definitely return again and again because the food and margaritas were absolutely delicious.
It was so long since our last visit (pre-Covid) but I was quickly reminded how much I love about the Franklin Inn. From the chips and salsa, to the margaritas, and main course of enchiladas and fajitas... everything is A+ and service is top notch. The jalapeno vinaigrette dressing for the salad never disappoints. I also really like the side option of fajita veggies...a great addition to the enchiladas! The only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating is the AC unit in the back of the dining room. It constantly blows frigid air and there are four tables where you need to wear a jacket. Once they fix that little problem I will be back to 5 stars for one of my all-time favorites!
I love, love, love the food here and service is always outstanding even when it’s packed to the brim. (Which is often lol) I just really wish the crispy fish tacos were not switched to tilapia…huge disappointment there! ☹️
Service was friendly and outstanding. A very wonderful girl with blue/green dreds was our server and she was smacked busy. She was super.
The tacos were amazing. Super fresh and had a little kick . Would definitely recommend and come back ?

Franklin Inn is a casual Mexican restaurant. It serves a variety of appetizers, entrees, sides, desserts, and drinks. The restaurant is currently trying to hire employees for many positions, and that understaffing might explain the long waits. I waited 50 minutes for my food to be brought out. My waitress had a warm personality and seemed to care about her customers. As for the food, I liked the tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa. My vegetable fajita was reasonably good. My husband did not enjoy his steak fajita at all, and he said that it lacked flavor. Our taste buds like only slightly spicy foods, but we recommend that the cooks here add more seasoning.
Excellent food. So much flavor. The fresh salsa on the plate and the rice side where unique and so delicious. My husband's shrimp fajita was the freshest.Stand out dinner. Margarita wasNot as good as I remembered.
I love this place! Great ambience, large portions, fantastic drinks, excellent service, and so so yummy! If you haven’t been here yet, you need to hurry up and try it out. It will be your new favorite place for family night out, date night or just meeting up with your friends.
Food was good. Tasted like good quality ingredients. Only downside the restaurant is super tiny, my waitress was sweet but im pretty sure she was overworked (she just didn't seem like she could catch her breath) and that paper with the time limit they put on the table is weird. I completely understand it but the host could have explained what it was instead of throwing it on the table. I would still go back though. So far since we've moved here this is the only edible mexican food in the area.
