Great fast food restaurant. The ladies who work there are super nice, Especially the ladies who usually close the restaurant during the week.Sausages are excellent!
I was there yesterday afternoon and I had a Meat ball Sandwich to go and when I got home the DAM Meatball Sandwich ONLY had one Small Meatball on the Sandwich and it was All Just Smashed up ground beef and just A little bit of Onions and that was the Worst Sandwich that I ever got there And No Wonder that the Store is Not getting any business and they must be on drugs because they want to Charge*$1.75* for a bottle of Water this Place is going down hill Fast but It is Pittsburg Right Think About It NOW And You Know That It's True Just Think About It NOW ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
The hotdogs themselves were only marginally worse than the normal thing you could grab at the grocery store. As far as price, a hotdog is like 2bucks plus toppings, so not bad.The chili is the sort of thing you could put out as rat bait and not have to add poison too (my friend was puking nearly immediately, and I wasnt brave enough to try it). Unfortunately, I doubt you'd actually kill any rats based on how horrible it looked and smelled.
They NO NOT make a real Pittsburgh hot italian sausage hoagie.

Frankie's sells the best hot sausage sandwich in this part of PA. I have not tasted any other hot sausage sandwich that tastes better than Frankie's. ? ?

If you like onions, and a sandwich that won't break the bank, this is the place to go. It's been on Butler St forever. Meatball, sausage, or footlongs, you will love it.
