I was a customer for 15 plus years way back when they used to be open all night long service has slowly going downhill when the past couple years to the point where I used to eat here three times a week now I don't think I'll ever go back the waitresses weren't rude they just did an act like you existed it saddens me to have to write it Frank and Shirley's was one of my favorite diners now I warn everyone not to go there
Ok food but very disappointed in owner or waitress who put bill thru to cc company. Added a 2 in front of my $5 tip. Im mean really your going fraud your customer for $20? Lost business for my life and my adult son's that was with me.Yes and I dont think it was waitress either buddy. Sad what u do for $20. Just scummy and sadUpdate: cc company refunded my money after investigation so... just sad really
Best breakfast I have ever had other than home. Great service and price. We will definitely be back. Delicious!
if i could give 0 stars i absolutely would. i’m mad at myself for giving this place my time and my money. i waited 40 mins for cold unseasoned eggs bacon and toast. the chili was just lukewarm tomato sauce with burger. not even salt and pepper. the restaurant was not packed and there were no to go orders. it’s unfortunate a place this awful has survived the pandemic while other restaurants didn’t make it.
First time there. Staff very nice & respectful. Food very good.
Frank n Shirley's is part of the foundation of my childhood! I've always loved it and will forever make an occasional stop for a bite with my Dad. I love the friendly banter that you can be part of or hear in the background while you enjoy a meal. Great family restaurant!
small diner but lovely as can be inside felt like i was in the 60s. my daughter and I had dinner there today. I have driven by there many of time over the years but didnt seem to have much time back than to visit this gem. I had the stuff cabbage and my daughter had the fish sandwich which was a big portion. the waitress marlana was a pleasant woman and serve us with great care. hopefully i can make it back there and try out other dishes.
Real American diner feel, food is what you'd expect for a diner. Its a solid choice. Recommend for breakfast especially.
The food is quick and the staff are great. I’ve been to many diners in the city and this is the only one that fits the bill when it comes to food quality, atmosphere and staff. This place has been around for years and I finally got a chance to go a few years ago. I’ve been hooked ever since.
Nice place! A little too busy on a Sunday late morning, which was likely why the service was a bit slower than ideal. That may also be due to a shortage of workers too.Regardless, the staff was nice and friendly, the food was good, and the prices very reasonable.I will revise my review, possibly increasing it, based on future visits when things may be more typical.
