Good atmosphere and beer selection, friendly staff and AWESOME food with huge portions. Highly recommend!
Forbes Tavern is our neighborhood “Cheers”. Chef Cam makes delicious food with daily specials. My favorites are the smoked wings (with a smoke ring and crispy skin), the Tavern Salad, the Gyro Sandwich (with homemade tzatziki sauce that is delicious), and the Tavern Burger. Forbes is now open 7 days a week! The draft beer selection has been gradually improving although local craft beers are still limited. The whole staff is friendly and efficient although it can get quite busy!

Pleasant city/neighborhood like tavern. Staff very cordial and made you feel right at home. Flatbread good. Ambience low key and comfortable for a friendly beer and meal.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. This place has a real pub feel, kind of old and dark, but welcoming. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was really good. A chicken and club sandwich were excellent as were the fries, but they were a bit over-salted. A grilled chicken wrap was also good but a little skimpy on the chicken. We would come back here if we find ourselves in downtown Pittsburgh again. Many cheers ..............
We went there after doing some funerals arrangements the server was amazing the time she took to take of us was amazing and as a server my self I can said she's definitely a keeper and we would go back don't remember her name I think it's maritza or Nicole it was March 5
This spot gives extraordinary service and yummy meals. One of my favourite restaurants around town. The food is served rapidly and the rates were reasonable. Highly recommended. Get the French Onion Soup you won’t be Disappointed!!!
Nashville chicken sandwich is fire. The bartender was super friendly.
