Servers didn't explain the ordering process. This was our first time there and we all took a menu and wrote down our orders only to be told 20 minutes later, the orders had to be combined on one sheet. Yes. It took 20 minutes for the server to return to our table. This was a small restaurant and this was not acceptable. When bringing out the food the servers used names that were not on the menu, which caused A LOT OF CONFUSION. However, they made it appear as if we were the problem. The server also snatched the bill from my hand while I was seated and discussing it with my spouse. We gave I've never had that happen before. Good food. Horrible service. I won't return.
It’s always a good sign when there are people waiting outside for the restaurant to open. We ordered the pork soup dumplings, braised beef noodle soup and hot spicy wonton noodles. You can see the chefs hand-making the dumplings and noodles through a transparent window. Everything was made fresh and served hot. The prices are reasonable especially for the quantity of food served.Definitely stop by if you’re in the mood for noodles and dumplings.
Always a fabulous experience! Great service, delicious foods,
delish! great big ol bowl of tasty soups! and grab the soup dumplings!
Great food great soups and good service!
Everyday Noodles has been one of my favorite restaurants, if not my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since it opened. Tonight I got takeout. I ordered a noodle dish and soup dumplings. The soup dumplings were fine. The noodle dish I got both smelled and tasted like what I would imagine raw, rotting fish would smell and taste like. It smelled and tasted so severely repulsive that I almost threw up. I had to put the entire dish in the trash. I hope I don’t get food poisoning, from even the tiny amount that I ate. Extremely disappointed as this is the 1st time I’ve ever had this experience here, which again has been one of my favorite restaurants. I can truly say it was literally the worst thing I have ever eaten in my life. I’m so turned off I don’t think I can ever return again.
Authentic. Affordable. While there might be a short wait since they don’t do reservations (walk in only), the turnover is pretty fast since the food comes out quick! While you’re waiting, watch the dough masters hand draw the noodles or make dumplings. Service is always great.I love the beef tendon soup with thin noodles, and I normally share an order of pork soup dumplings. This is more than enough. Don’t over-order because they give you a hefty serving of noodles. If you like spicy stuff, ask for some chili oil for the soup (but for your first visit try the amazing beef broth by itself)You’ll love it!
Everyday noodles has reliably tasty food and unique menu items. We especially like their “dry” noodle dishes. They are fairly priced, flavorful and a good quantity. Their soup dumplings are good too, both the pork and shrimp options, but are quite pricey so we only get that occasionally. I only wish they had more non-pork/non-beef options but can’t fault them for that, I’m just jealous of all the food I can’t have! But my husband who can have all the menu items really loves it. Don’t think vegetarians would find many options here. Interior is nice and good for evenings.
I saw mixed reviews of the Dan Dan noodles, and I have to say they tasted delicious and were probably my favorite of the dishes we ordered. I recommend ordering the thicker noodle. The soup dumplings also tasted great but they have a very strong pork flavor which in my opinion wasn’t my favorite. I’ve had soup dumplings in China and they tasted very similar so I would recommend if you like this. Although I should say the soup dumplings could have been a bit hotter. I personally don’t eat much meat especially considering I don’t eat beef so I was disappointed when we received beef pancakes instead of the onion pancakes we had ordered. I nibbled a bit on it and can imagine the onion pancakes would have been also tasty. Despite the mistakes I was impressed with the food and the layout of the restaurant. The restaurant definitely is dedicated to making the authentic meals and authentic experience. And overall the price and seating make up for the small criticisms I gave.
We went here for lunch today and WOW it was amazing. We got the braised beef noodle soup, soup dumplings and pan fried pork buns. You can tell the difference in quality and taste with these homemade noodles. The meat was also fantastic, so tasty. My daughter is 1 and loved watching the show that everyone put on for her.Service was also quick and everyone was very friendly and accommodating! We cannot wait to go back!
