We've dined at some of Pittaburgh's best steakhouses and we always gravitate back to Eddie Merlot's. It's a good mix of energy and the atmosphere is comfortable. We'll return as soon as we can.
Went here after reconnecting with high school love and wanted something nice and special. Eddieâs did not disappointâ¦Food was excellent, waiter was fantastic, great atmosphere for fine dining.

The service was top notch. Bob did a wonderful job of explaining the different cuts of steak and made some nice recommendations. There was live music which was a nice surprise Overall the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great

We both ordered Ribeyeâs. My steak was wonderful. My husbandâs was tough and chewy. They took it back and cooked him another one. It was from the same cut. It was exactly the same way. For $69 it should have been perfect. Was too embarrassed to send it back a second time. By the time he got his food I was done eating!! It kinda put a damper on our expensive Anniversary dinner!!! Taking a few dollars off wasnât the fix!!

I eat a lot of steak. And, being from New York, I am a bit of snob when it comes to steak and steakhouses. Without exaggeration, the bone in rib eye I had at Eddie Merlot's was the best steak I have ever eaten. Everything else was fantastic, as well. Our server was a delight. The prices are lofty, but for a special occasion I cannot imagine a better choice. Thank you.
