Anytime I eat here it’s always amazing! The seitan wings are fantastic, and they give great options for both vegans and non vegans. The people are really nice there. Will be back for sure!
I used to frequent this location often but haven't been there in a while. We decided to stop in for lunch today. The wait staff was super attentive and nice. The food was great and portions were large. Thank you for making my birthday lunch special.
I got the lentil burger it was great! Food was very fresh! Would definitely go back when I'm in town.Vegan and vegetarian options are great there is a separate section on the menu for them.
We were here for Sunday brunch. We had a party of nine. I had the Double Wide Benedict. The eggs on top of cornbread instead of English muffins. It was delicious. The cornbread added a little sweet taste to the Benedict. My wife had the chocolate chip pancakes which were equally delicious. She couldn't finish them so I was able to have some. The coffee was also very good. Our waiter, Michael was prompt and courteous. Service was great. Our coffee mugs were never empty. We had family in from out of town and we were glad they enjoyed the food, the music there and the service. We will be back soon.
Sigh. Where do I begin. The staff was wonderful, but the food left a lot to be desired. The seitan wings had a delicious sauce but managed to have a gritty texture to the batter. The vegan cheese steak was smothered in.... BBQ sauce. I was not expecting a bbq sandwich and was so very disappointed by the sandwich on my plate. The vegan gyro, ordered by my daughter, was also sweet, not tangy no spices that would be reminiscent of a Greek flavored meat. The desert was dry and an underwhelming end to a disappointing meal.I understand that when you're ordering vegan or vegetarian meat, you're getting an approximation of meat, not the "real thing". I expect that, I really do. I expect imagination in the food, I expect it to veer from what a typical meat based meal might taste like. But if we are being really real here, I want my vegetarian meats to be at least in the same ballfield as it's descriptor. Double wide Grill missed the mark here.
This was my first time at the double wide grill. I had recently been stranded in Pittsburgh due to the storm and was looking for a good meal. The pineapple chicken wrap and fries did not disappoint. I don't know if it was the hunger talking but it was one of the best things I have had to eat at a restaurant of this style in a good while. The fries were handcut and fresh as well. The servers were very kind and they even helped me find a good spot to charge my phone. The decor was very unique and tasteful. I will definitely be back many times. I wasn't able to use the outdoor dining space due to the cold but will definitely come back in the summer to enjoy its pet friendly nature.
Great food and sincere service. Loved the TV dinner plate with chicken and pulled pork and cornbread! Also enjoyed the Cuban made with the pulled pork and the slightly spicy slaw! Fun place to have lunch as we just flew into town and the entire street of restaurants was take out only. Waitress was super friendly and very attentive. Really nice to enjoy a delicious sit down meal after the red eye! Go Steelers!
We were in town for a Monday night Steelers game and found this place for dinner on Sunday night. Loved the old gas station garage decor and set up. Wish it had been a different time of year because their outdoor seating looked amazing. They had a decent selection of craft beers and the food was good. Highly recommend the wings if you like them crispy. I had the Cajun dry rub and it was fantastic. My husband said the rib tacos were outstanding. Super cool spot.
great service and food! can’t believe i haven’t been here until now. we had a party of 8, waitress was great, was on top of everything including 6 thirsty boys who constantly needed refills. food was delicious, everyone agreed!
Thank you for making our work Christmas party such a fantastic event! The service was amazing thanks to our wonderful server, Harry! The food was out of this world! The entire atmosphere was perfect for our party and the staff and management couldn’t do enough for us! We had a fantastic time!
