This place is amazing! The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is great. I recommend getting a taco box so you can try 2 tacos and get a side of chips and guac/pico/queso.

I consistently order the dino bowl and its great every time. The staff usually has a solid playlist going while waiting, fun vibes and always friendly.

Had lunch tacos on a Sunday. Got the box special and it was a good amount of food so I like that.. appreciate that! HoweverI got the fish taco which seemed like a day old, cold, reheated and semi warm fish. It was edible just didn’t have the joie de vivre that I was looking for? my other taco was the vegetarian taco with black beans and that one was passable but it lacked flavor. Maybe more salt? Pickled veggies? Something to liven it up. The ambiance was nice and the servers were kind so no complaints there. Don’t think I need to go back because the guac didn’t impress me too much either I lacked lemony flavors and salt for me and was way too smooth.

Delicious food. Gets better every time I go there. Tacos are amazing and chicken quesadillas are amazing.

This is my favorite taco place in Pittsburgh. I haven't been to EVERY taco place, but a few years ago my friend and I had a mission to find the best tacos. We went to a lot of places on our quest. Typically there are three meat options (ground beef, chicken, or pork) and they've added a few vegetarian options now as well. My favorite is the pork tacos because if you get a nice moist serving of the shredded pork it has a sort of bacony taste to it. There's a good ratio of protein, veggies, and sauce. I think they're decently priced for the quality. They have corn tortilla shells or flour tortilla shells. Personally, I hate flour tortillas because they're too sweet and stick to my teeth, so I love the corn tortilla option. You can't be a real taco joint without corn tortillas. I just had there walking nachos this last visit. I got the nacho Doritos with the pork. They did not skimp on the toppings. My only complaint for those was that it was just sort of hard to mix with the shredded pork but they provide one of those fry baskets so I just poured it out of the bag and mixed it. Th decor is pretty, and food is served up pretty fast.

The tacos are always pretty good, but the nachos are just disgusting. The service is okay, but nobody wears masks around the food and it seems unsanitary. The staff are very nice though, and if you want some cheap Mexican food this is the place.

this is for sure one of the coolest places to eat in Pittsburgh. the tacos are life changing!!! I introduce people to this place all the time and they always want to keep going back. no problem! there are vegetarian options! and they've never run out of hot sauce while I'm there.

My girlfriend and I go to Doce weekly. We’ve talked to the owners and they are very nice. The only issues we have with Doce are the difference in the quality of the food and service between the North Hills and South Side locations. The North Hills location is fantastic. Service is on point and the food comes out hot and the way we ordered it mostly everytime. However, the experiences we’ve had at the South Side location have been awful since they moved locations on East Carson street. The service is terrible and often very slow. When we get the food to go we are usually stuck there waiting for it way after we ordered it way in advance online and go to pick it up. We are never greeted by the employees despite sitting there in the pickup area looking lost and clearly need assistance. The food often comes out luke warm or cold and our order is rarely correct. Recently on my Dino bowl I received only lettuce and pork on it…that’s it…just lettuce and pork. No other fixings. I was standing right there when I received that order and obviously didn’t think to check it until I got home and that’s what I was met with. You think maybe they would ask if that was right considering how unusual of an order that would be? Additionally, If we order and pay extra for double meat, extra lettuce, extra guacamole, or extra salsa it never appears to have it as that order looks vastly different from what we receive at the North Hills location. It’s a shame I have to write this because we love Doce North Hills very much, but the South Side location is awful and we will not be returning there.

I ordered the nachos with carnitas. Unfortunately, there was so much nacho cheese that any effort spent on cooking the carnitas properly was wasted. I would recommend asking for ‘light’ cheese with your nacho order to be safe.
