We felt extremely rushed trying to order and the worker walked away to make the sundae before I finished ordering it and then got a little snippy when I asked him to finish the order. I totally understand they were busy and people were waiting but having spent many years in food service at an ice cream shop, I feel their organization of order taking/making could use a little refining. Their prices seemed a little high and again I understand location, pandemic shortages and other factors but 30 bucks for 2 sundaes, large float and a lemonade was pricey in my estimation. Their redemption was their lemonade which was awesome enough that we bought a second on the way out.
DiFiore's Ice Cream Delite is the absolute best ice cream shop in all of Pittsburgh. If you disagree, maybe you've never really tried it --- and I'll have to fight you tooth and nail!The owners are incredibly kind, charismatic people who welcome all people with open arms. The food is to utterly scrumdiddlyumptious, delicious, and to die-for!But the ice cream? The ice cream is where it's at. Get a large ice cream waffle cone. I'm telling you, it's like at least a foot high! It's the largest, tallest ice cream cone I've ever seen in my life. You have GOT TO try it!! The portions are very generous for the value.They do not have a credit card processing machine and only accept cash. There is an ATM down the street, but that may be a problem for some visitors who don't use cash anymore.
I was charged $9 for a water and a medium vanilla ice cream cone. Ice cream quality was very cheap and almost flavorless.Way, way too expensive for what is being sold. They gave me a 1 ply napkin and when I asked for more he counted two napkins to give to me… If you sell a messy dessert on a hot summer day, maybe try not to be so stingy.

Cute little ice ice cream shop. I had a hot fudge Sunday there was more whip cream than ice cream. Great patio seating area in the back. Garbage can overflowing was gross

Di Fiores was just awesome. The owners there were honest and extremely helpful! We ordered a meal, and were able to pay for it, but we planned to get ice cream. We didn't have enough cash to cover the ice cream, but they actually offered to cover it for us! No one in our family could even come close to believing how amazing this place is! And their food is delicious! We seriously recommend this lovely place and guarantee you'll love it too!
