The 8oz beef pattie for their burgers, was changed to a boxed pattie from a big box store. It is not 8oz and there were small unknown clear pieces when I took a bite. I just threw it away, not knowing what the real ingredients were. Their burgers used to be so good ?
I went into the Braddock Hills location and was not greeted with a hello but instead rudeness, unprofessionalism and disdain. When I asked to speak with the owner, a gentleman came out and I asked if he was the manager or the owner, he replied that he was both. No greeting, no name provided; he just stood there with no real intent of correcting the wrong. Now I see why the 2 women were rude and felt entitled to be such. When I told him how I was treated and the lack of customer service, his only reply was I will talk to them. No real concern for the matter nor a sign of empathy. This is accepted behavior in this establishment. I am truly disturbed by the interaction with staff and ownership. I would frequent this establishment once sometimes twice a week, but not after this treatment. When you have a level of discontentment from ownership down…there is no growth and therefor no acceptance of responsibility! Sad day indeed!
Dad’s Pub is a restaurant that is not only dog friendly, has amazing food but has even better service! Thank you Jessica for a great night on the patio! We will be regulars and highly recommend!
I've gone inside once to dine & chat with my boyfriend and his boss. The one other time was when I DoorDashed for one of my customers. Upon entering, the bar is on the left. Facing 90°degrees from bar & looking straightaway there is a larger area that is family-friendly than the bar area which is much smaller & suitable for intimate dining There were a lot of people, almost very crowded. That should tell you that their menu are delicious. The ambience gave a cheery happy-go-lucky feel. People seemed like they were having a great time and enjoying their mea while chatting away with one another. The last time I went inside was about a couple months ago. However, I have been stopping by the next door convenience store every now & then. During one of my stops, I noticed that there was an "A" signpost outside by the front entrance at Dad's. It explained that the biz was undergoing an improvement inside. After I go there one day again I will give an updated review.
My goat cheese chicken wrap wasn't too great, but upgrading the fries to beer battered was definitely worth it. It's a standard American restaurant experience, nothing too special but they do the basics pretty well.
Just discovered that they serve ‘pup entrees’ of hot dog, chicken or ground beef patty to dogs on the patio. Great idea! Nothing better than dining al fresco with man’s best friend.
Nice establishment. Friendly staff which is hard to come by these days. My kids enjoyed their meals. I did as well.
Stopped by Dad's on Briton road had a beer and ordered takeout food. Was very clean nice feel polite bartender. Honestly the food was excellent definitely will be going back. Ordered Two chesesteak sandwiches loaded with thin steak and onion rings were delicious, my friend said her burger was the best she had in a long while.
Extremely tasty food - the burgers are juicy & well-dressed. I like the pub fries quite a bit. I'm also a fan of the deep-fried pretzels (although I know they're terrible for me).Service is very friendly. I very much like the covered outdoor seating.
Really nice variety of food as well as good quality. The pasta for the wedding soup is actually made per order so it doesn't take up all the broth and you can taste the cheese in there! I challenge you to find a better one anywhere. Jamie is a pro and always makes us feel welcome. Anything to make your meal good experience she's on it. We had Greek, Italian and German food all at one table. ? I recommend the steak Hoagie and the Italian hoagie is particularly nicely balanced. I brought a particularly finicky friend there and she said, "This is our new place!"
