Let's just start with this, I very rarely rate a place 5 stars. I was very skeptical at coming here at first, but glad I did. I am a big pizza guy as my family owned their own family pizza shop for 32 years. I grew up on pizza and know what a good pizza is. Well for the first time in my life of almost 40 years, I believe I just tasted the perfect pizza just the other day. We ordered 3 different pizzas and I can't tell you how perfect they were. The crispy crust was perfect and the crust under the sauce and cheese was ideally perfect with a tiny crisp finish. The ingredients were top notch. People rave about Fiori's pizza, but you always gotta add extra sauce to their pizza. Here you didn't need to add anything. I will definitely be back and I will frequent this place more often now that I know I have found the perfect pizza.
Me and my husband stopped on our way to the Pittsburgh Pirates home opener and now want to make the trip back every day for another pizza and Philly cheese steak! Super friendly staff and the food was delicious!!
Just had Fantastic Pizza while visiting my daughter in Pittsburgh, PA! The crust was perfect. It was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The cheese was very tasty and the sauce was divine. We had a Margarita Pizza and a Meatball Supreme. The meatballs were thinly sliced and the so were the pepperoni slices. This caused the pepperoni slices to crisp up nicely on the edges. The toppings were very generous, while the crust remained crispy. We also had an order of bread bites that were made from the same pizza dough. They were crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. They were served with two dipping sauces, ranch and marinara which were both quite tasty. I would highly recommend Crust! Cafe and Pizzeria! We will definitely be back.
I just had amazing pizza while visiting my daughter in Pittsburgh! That is really something for me to admit considering that I thought I would never find even good pizza out here. The crust was delicious! It was chewy on the inside, yet crunchy on the outside. The cheese was wonderful and the sauce was divine. We also had a order of bread bites which are made from the same dough as the pizza crust. They were crisp on the outside and tender and soft on the inside. These were accompanied by two dipping sauces, ranch and marinara. They were delicious and I could have made a meal simply out of them. They were better than any garlic knots I have ever had at the Jersey Shore. I would highly recommend Crust Cafe and Pizzeria. There were so many options on the menu and I can't wait to visit Pittsburgh again.
Great, family atmosphere with exceptional staff! The pizza and wings were delicious. A truly hidden gem that I would recommend to anyone looking for pizza!
During Lent they make a crab pizza, it is delish!!!
I am New Jersey native and my biggest complaint since moving to PA has been the terrible pizza. I received a recommendation for Crust and was honestly shocked at how great the pizza is! They make their own crust, which is the perfect mixture of soft chewy interior with a nice crunch to the bottom. They load up the topping for any of their signature pizzas, no skimping here. Despite the piles of delicious meats, veggies, sauces, and cheese the crust still has a crunchy bottom and can handle the weight. The sauce (also made in house) is the ideal mix of sweet and salty, I honestly wish I could eat it out of a bowl with a spoon like soup. As a locally owned small business the prices are totally reasonable and service is fast. The staff are all incredibly friendly and you can tell they are a staple of the community with how the regulars interact with them. I cannot sing their praises enough. My friend and I ordered two small pizzas, one Da Works and one Four Cheese. Both were super delicious and we were full after only half of our pizzas, leaving us with another meal at home. We also got a take-and-bake pizza and it was just as delicious as eating there. A great option for entertaining or if you want to eat the pizza at home but have it fresh and hot. If you want incredible pizza and great service, take it from this NJ native and pizza snob, Crust is the place to go!
Loved it. Little bites garlic balls were excellent. Had a huge slice of pizza. Also excellent. Worth the trip. Reasonably priced.
The best fish sandwich I’ve ever had by far. Very tasty! Definitely will be back every Friday for my fish! Pizza is very tasty as well! Love this place and it’s walking distance which is a huge plus??
Got pizza there for the first time. Lady was very nice and told me get the take n bake. The pizza was so good better than any other pizza shop I've been to in years. I will be back for sure. I will not eat any other pizza unless it's from crust. So glad I stopped by after going to the Meadows casino.
