Brett was really nice and since was visiting Pittsburgh for a show and got there early when it got close the doors to open was let in first one and the venue has one of atmospheres that I have experienced. The bartender Brian was right on time even though I had to cut myself off before the show started talked heavy metal bands before other people started coming in. Thank you Brett and Brian and the band Humbird for an incredible evening hope to come back.
Club Cafe has long been my favorite music venue in Pittsburgh. It is small and intimate. Get there early for the best seating or you will have to stand. But it is so small that standing is not a problem. The intimate nature of the club assures that you can have excellent interaction with some pretty incredible nationally known artists on the right night.I notice that Club Cafe has consistently received 5 star reviews up until the Covid crisis. People seem to be leaving poor reviews because they are upset that the club is requiring that their patrons be vaccinated. Please do not let this dampen your opinion of Club Cafe. It is such a small venue that the only reasonable option to ensure everyone's health is to require that patrons be vaccinated. Anything less would be inappropriate. The vast majority of the people who frequent this club appreciate this policy.I have seen some incredible shows here. I also know a few performers who are known throughout the nation, and they say that they love playing at Club Cafe. It is one of Pittsburgh's hidden gems.
Great intimate venue to see concerts and to grab a bite to eat while waiting for the bands. Definitely go early to grab a table and chairs
This place requires proof of vaccination to visit therefore I will never visit this place again even if they end their vaccine mandate. Places that do this do not deserve to stay in business.
First time being here and loved it!!! It's a super cool place to see some live music up close! Bartenders are also super kind and nice! Definitely going to keep coming back here!!!
Great small venue to see concerts to get up close and personal. I've frequent this place quite often and my brothers band Old paint and Skratratch has got to open up for some national bands which has been fun to see. It's on the quiet end of town. Good views inside and get there early for a seat and grab a bite to eat while you wait for the bands. Friendly staff and good beers on tap. Free street parking after 6:00 is also nice.
Pretty stoked they're using their constitutional right to ask for vaccine card or negative test to enter. Inside not knowing or understanding how rights work then leaving bad reviews.
I went to Pitt game today crowded probably 30,000 in attendance , the place was packed, we were looking for a nice night out but to get into this dive I have to show proof of vaccination. SO DUMB.
So happy to visit a venue that not only provides great musical talent, but also helps keep us safe. Kudos, Club Cafe. We will be back!
