Let me tell you about my experience. I walked in not knowing what to Expect... The menu was a bit intimidating for an amateur in the Indian Food. I shook my head and started heading to the door. Gracie stopped and asked if I needed anything, I said the menu was a big overwhelming and I was probably gonna head next door. She asked if I wanted her to walk me through the Menu, which I agreed. I am very happy that she stopped me from walking out the door. She talked me into a meal, and it was beyond expectations. I will be back, and I'm bringing friends!

For being fast food version it was very good, service was good, and plenty of seating. Very well lit as well.

This was such a great find! The food was delicious, filling, and priced reasonably. The place is kept tidy and clean, including the restrooms. And finally, service was speedy and pleasant. Highly recommended!

A very good Indian-inspired quick option. Choolah is a nice place for those shopping in the Robinson area. The prices to me seemed a bit on the high side and the portions may be a little underwhelming, but the food was good. I understand inflation is at an all-time high though. The management was superb and the manager offered us three free entree vouchers simply because there was a small delay in the food preparation. Totally unnecessary but very kind and generous. I would recommend Choolah.

It was inevitable that someone would take Indian food and give it the Chipotle treatment. That is what this chain is. You walk in and have a limited selection of bowls and wraps to choose from. You build your own from their selection of fillers and proteins, sides and so forth. While the combinations you can come up with give you a fair amount of variety, anyone who is familiar with Indian food will recognize how limited this approach truly is.Of more importance though is whether the food tastes good. Here, the results were mixed. Some of the dishes we tried had the right flavors - although milder than we prefer - while others were really lacking. For instance, we tried the Paneer as one of our proteins and it was really not seasoned almost at all. They do give you one of their sauces to pour over the bowl, but those were not quite matched to the food - for instance a Mexican hot sauce? There are good things, for sure. They do maintain tandoor ovens and as we waited for our food, we saw them cook the naan in the proper manner. The naans were a little thin, but they did use salted butter and onion seeds on them, so they were very tasty. The staff was exceedingly helpful - they knew their menu, knew what to recommend, and addressed every request promptly and politely. One final note, prices are high, but this is very filling food. We ended up spending $36 for two meals, which ended up being three.

Highly recommending Choolaah! It’s a quick, healthy meal while out shopping in Robinson. I ordered the balance bowl with chicken, rice, yellow lentils, and roasted veg (sweet potato, zucchini, cauliflower). It was so flavorful and I was pleasantly very full. Extremely clean restaurant and great service too!

Perfectly spiced food across the board from the chicken to the roasted veggies. Having the self service checkout is convenient as well! I think I misread one of the options in the menu (half no rice is what it says on my receipt?) so my bowl was a bit bare for what I paid ($16 for that and some Naan), but will give them another shot because of the taste!

The most unique eating experience, All the way down to the table you eat on! The food is authentic and delish. Ordered a protein bowl with lamb meatballs and a lamb meatballs naan wrap. The dishes are full of flavor and filling. The inside atmosphere was the most creative and unique experience with book chandeliers and spice tables. Would recommend for anyone wanting a quick bite to eat with simple ingredients and a full palette of spices!

The food was delicious. The service was quick. The restaurant was clean. Overall a great experience. The only downside is the price, it's a bit expensive if you get anything more than a simple bowl.

Recently we visited this place close to 8pm without knowing that it was their closing time. I am grateful that the staff let us dine there even after 8pm. I thank them for that and hence the 3 stars. Reason why I am giving two stars less is because one of the staff member was very annoyed and behaved rudely with us. I understand that this was because we were there after the closing time. All I request from the staff is, in future please let us know about the closing time while we are ordering the food so that we can decide not to dine there and take it home instead.
