I barely give negative review, but I have to this time.I was placing a large order ($400+) for my a seminar of our school and waited for more than 2 hours to get the order done since only the manger can handle tax exemption. They told me it can be delivered at the first place but then they change their mind saying it's too late. So far it was okay, and I just waited in the shop for another 1 hour before they called my name. When the employee called my name, they said it is 2-3 bags, and I trusted so . I was asking about utensils, but they just went straight to a phone call. I picked up the bags and ran into my car since it was already late for the seminar. However, when we started unpacking, we found a bunch of food missing. I had to run back to the shop. However, when I arrived, before I said anything, the employees start street blaming me, saying there are always 5 bags and I just left 2 behind. At this point it was not about the food or money. I told them they said 3 bags and then they changed the words to "oh we said 3 to 5 bags". I wasn't really mad until this happened. What kind of sloppiness and arrogance was that.I should have checked the order myself, but given the ridiculous portion reduction after covid and the time limit back then, I didn't think about it. I might have contributed to the snafu, but if they didn't just call me the food was done when it was actually NOT, and they didn't just go straight to a phone call when help packing my order, this would not have happened. Besides, without saying anything sorry, they just went straight complain the customer. Well done.

Extremely overpriced , small portion for the power meal, the Naan bread is the worst and it does not even taste like Indian food. It is a poor man’s version of an inauthentic McDonaldesque takeout version of subpar food. Save your money and go to any authentic restaurant— it will be better, cheaper and you will feel satisfied. It’s been a very long time since I felt this way about anyplace. By the way, this is not a restaurant. There are no waiters and it is self serve.Let them go out of business. It will happen with the poor quality and the high prices.

This place is amazingly clean. I wouldn’t think twice to eat here. They had super quick service. Everybody working we’re maintaining hygiene especially the tandoori guy is wearing gloves which is tough when you have to put your hand into hot tandoor. The food taste appropriately, it suits well for Americans more than Indians because it doesn’t have the Indian spice level. It was well cooked and balanced. Price to portion is just about okay but I think it could have been better.Multi visit to this place is always fun. Try out their entire menu! I am sure it cannot be disliked.

Terrible naanDisastrous. They probably have frozen naans which they tried to heat and serve us. Black lentils daal is okay. Mango lassi is standard.

EXPENSIVE!!!!! Stay away unless you like spending $25 for one tiny meal. Naan is tasteless yse to be so much better and now it's always soggy. The Lassi and lemonade both taste like the store gets them frozen. For the price you're going to pay for the salmon you could go to store and get a whole salmon to feed your whole family. Everything use to taste fresh and now I wonder if it all comes in frozen. Don't even get me started on the lack of spice.

While the mango lassi and mango lemonade are good, the chicken tikka masala was very dry and lacking any cream in the sauce. The food tasted more or less like a Chipotle rice bowl with some caraway seeds sprinkled on top.

10/10real indian food. spices and chili very well balanced.food .. tast .. clean .. waiters .. place .. bathroom .. manue clear .. price.all OK.

I really like this place. I am always excited whenever there are quick and satiating vegetarian/vegan meals. I like that there are several protein options for me to choose from that are vegan (and even more are vegetarian!).I have never received a cold meal from Choolaah like some others have noted in reviews. I think that is because I never get it delivered. I always go in and order. The service speed is comparable to Panera I'd say (which makes sense given how the restaurant is set up).I think the portions are extraordinarily generous. It's enough for me to have it for 2 meals. It also reheats really well, but eating it cold is good too! Tofu can be really hit or miss for me depending on the restaurant, but I find Choolaah's tofu to be firm and tasty.

I have been here a few times and I genuinely like the food but I’ve seen some quality issues. They’ve burned the naan in the past, and in my most recent delivery order the food was cold, and the bowl was half empty. The food tastes good and comes at an affordable price. It’s the kind of restaurant I order from when I want something relatively healthy and quick. I personally like the vegetarian options with vegetable or lettuce, brown rice, and tikka masala. I always grab the tamarind apple and mango sauces for extra flavor. The drinks also taste great.
