The Chinatown Inn is a family owned restaurant that is owned and managed by the Yee family. It's history spans over 30 years. It is a delightful, Pittsburgh staple and one of the last places that remains that was once a part of, Pittsburgh's "Chinatown" the menu consists of Hunan, Cantonese, Thai and Szechuan recipes. You can get the level of spice tailored to fit your preference. I personally like a lot of spice in my meal and they absolutely delivered! They have the best, Hot and Sour Soup that I have ever had. Everything that I ordered was delicious?. The service was outstanding and the restaurant's interior was immaculate. Their menu selections were reasonably priced and they had something on their menu for everyone to enjoy! The Chinatown Inn is a great place to take your family to eat. Parking is limited but there are many places to park nearby.

Great food and atmosphere. My boyfriend and I just left and the food was absolutely amazing, although we ended up spending more money than we thought we would, however the food was definitely worth it. The portions are pretty large and come with rice (white or fried) on the side. You also get hot tea when you’re seated. All in all, would definitely go again, but would be more money conscious next time.

The sesame honey chicken was divine! Nice quiet place on weekends.

very good! the dishes we got weren’t spicy, but still pretty flavorful.

This place is the best Chinese restaurant in the downtown Pittsburgh area. Their lunch menu is amazing. They are wonderfully affordable with A+ flavor. Great portions as well. I will be back!! And I will add pictures to this review.

Best Chinese food in the city., especially their egg rolls. The location isn't great with the main entrance being tucked away on a side street, so give yourself some extra time to find the place if you've never been. They have their own parking lot.

The restaurant was wonderful. The atmosphere was great. The food was fantastic the egg rolls are amazing. The fried rice can feed a village. The crab rangoon was delicious. Service was great our waiter was funny and courteous. The restaurant and facilities were clean. I will definitely be back again.

Excellent light gravy egg foo young, promot service late night. Comfortable environs downtown Pittsburgh. Great menu including duck and lamb steam pots which I'll try next time !

Raw wanton in soup and main dish had so much chili that it made me sick. It was not ordered as spicy. Staff was polite, but had almost $40 of food that was terrible.

Ordering was easy. Delivery was faster than anticipated. Friendly and personable delivery man. Food was amazing!!! Menu items perfectly described each meal. I want to eat my left overs, but there's no room in my belly! I'll have to wait for my midnight snack. I won't hesitate to order again. Excellent all around.
