Have been here a couple times in the past year, and as of recent have not been satisfied. Have ordered Mild, Medium, Damn Hot, and all 3 spiciness levels were simply not great. Chicken is very salty, to the point where I’m chugging water as I’m eating. $13 for just a sandwich and no fries or drink is absurd. 3 stars just for the music.
My fiance and I get chikn at least 3 times a week. There are no amount of stars I could give this place to convey just how good it is. The fries are incredible. Service, delivery, and food are always on point. Please do yourself a favor and grab something to eat here, I promise you'll be addicted.
WOW this chicken is fire!!! Be careful, the medium heat level was extremely spicy. But absolutely delicious. The fries were bomb too. I forgot to take a picture before I started eating but here’s a picture of my scraps.
Love this place, the chicken is always delicious, service is always good, and the staff is friendly, and patient when things go wrong. My sole issue is that once you go beyond medium the actual heat level depends on the day and the person spicing. I've had hot level chicken that was as spicy as not the medium and damn hot depending on the day.Good either way, but I do like to know what I'm getting into each time.
Ordered the chicken and waffles with a medium spice level. The chicken was tasty with a very pleasant slight spice to it. The waffle on the other hand was very spongy and dry, covered in a thick maple paste. The waffle really ruined the dish. Probably stick with the sandwich.One other point to note as the country is deep in the Omicron surge not a single employee was wearing a mask. I was not impressed.
Decided to try out this place through ubereats last night !! i got the Chicken and waffles with a side of this cinnamon sauce with the syrup which was pretty good the chicken was seasoned well but the waffles were stone cold and tasted old which is just really dissappointing. I wouldn't order from here again unless it was fresh maybe go there but don't order it through ubereats
I've been to CHiKN about 20 times.Pros: Delicious, spicy chicken sandwiches (only 1/20 times did I get an old, dry piece of chicken). Makes me feel like a student at Pitt again (great jams).Cons: Service. Wait times can vary between 5 and 30 minutes (I guess this is because of online orders and peak business hours), and staff are sometimes unprofessional (eating and drinking at register). Credit card only. Why must the government track my chicken consumption?
Amazing chicken. Crunchy and flavorful. Be careful of the spice level. They are actually spicy. Loved both the burgers and the chicken tenders but my favourite is chicken tenders.
It was our first time dining here for Sunday brunch, and my daughter was craving chicken and waffles. The food was so good, We left here full and happy! Will definitely return. I had the “medium heat” which was a dash of heat. If you prefer a spicier chicken (similar to red hot, hot sauce) then go with hot.
The service was awesome!! Food was fresh and damn hot! The nuggs were huge!! The comeback sauce was on point and the pickles..?? fresh fresh and fresh!!!! Not one disappointment!!!!
