This will be a new favorite for us! If you like traditional South American comfort food Chicken Latino is going to be a favorite of yours too! We had the carnitas and their Peruvian Classic rotisserie chicken. We also enjoyed their fried yucca with spicy Verde sauce and (of course) fried Plantains! Yum! Service was exceptional--friendly, quick! We look forward to going back!
The green sauce. If they ask you if you want the green sauce, get it. It is so good! I got a chicken salad that was okay last week. Typical: greens, tomato, cucumber, fries cheese and chicken. Nothing spectacular, but decent. The green sauce elevated it beyond just ordinary to amazing. Only down side is they don't give you enough.
Very delicious food - I especially recommend the slow roasted pork from the weekend menu if it's available. The yuca fries were also amazing, and you get a ton of value for your money here.
Excellent customer service, quick delivery of our food, great overall place definitely try it out if you haven’t!
My goodness this place has amazing food. I previously went to their strip district location and loved it. The food is really good. Get as much chicken and as much sauce as you can. The Yuca fries are really tasty too. I didn't like the jalapeño poppers but everything else is really good. The sauce is something special, I literally order just the sauce here. If they had order online this would switch to 5 stars.
I came to service their drink machine, which is Coca-Cola of course, and I was offered a quesdilla. I refused at first but the owner insisted, and I am so glad she did. It was absolutely delicious. It may be a little out of the way of the usual spots but this is worth an extra 5 minute trip for lunch if your a fan of traditional style food or just looking for something new
Great spot for lunch. I got the vegetarian burrito and my husband and father in law both got their chicken. We all agreed it was delicious, but the spicy green chili sauce seriously was worth the trip alone. We also got appetizers of fresh chips and salsa, and sweet fried plantains. Both great. Also, our server was incredibly kind and patient with us as we were deciding what to get.Definitely would visit again if I'm in the area.
This is by far my favorite Latino restaurant around here. I could literally eat this every day of the week. The portions are big enough that I sometimes get two or three days out of it! I hope they never change. Absolutely phenomenal and great pricing.
We ordered the steak lomo holiday platter for Christmas. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful; the rice, beans, and plantains scrumptious; and the green sauce finger-licking good. One of our favorite holiday meals so far and we also plan on coming to dine-in now that we know how delicious it is. Thanks for an amazing Christmas meal!!!
Nothing like authentic fire roasted rotisserie chicken from Peru. I love pollo a la brasa in Peru and are in it all the time in my 7 trips to Lima and over 3 years spent in Peru. This chicken pales in comparison. It's flavorless, had texture like it's microwaved, and was all around nasty. Pittsburgh folks need to grow done taste buds because of you want good chicken this ain't it.
