I took the family to Casa Brasil in Highland Park for dinner Sunday evening. The mandioca frita (yucca fries) were the hit. My kids loved them so much that they had them for an appetizer and a second order for dessert! We split two meals between the four of us. First the weekend special feijoada was awesome, the collard greens were perfect! The chicken Stroganoff was fought over by the kids and the adults! Service was great.
This restaurant is absolutely stellar. We have lived close by for the past 2 years and have become regulars! My husband and I chose to have our wedding rehearsal dinner downstairs in the rental space, and it was the best decision we could have made! The space was so charming and comfortable for everyone. Tim and staff did a fabulous job with their attention to detail in supporting our event. I am still hearing from our friends and family about how good the food was, 2 months later!
The food was fabulous so flavorful. It was so quick to arrive. The service was above and beyond great!! I got chickpea salad it was huge and zucchini side dish. Yum and will definitely return and try other items.
This place was soooo good. It was my boyfriend and I’s first time trying Brazilian food and it was so delicious. I got the moqueca de peixe and am in a food coma in heaven right now. I feel like I’ve been missing out my whole life on some delicious food. The service was also great and the vibe of the restaurant was awesome with relaxing Brazilian music. Definitely come here if you love yourself
My favorite restaurant. There food is so good. Shout out to the beautiful lady chef, the owner and Soul Man.
My husband and I stopped in Pittsburgh after a trip down south, and we needed a break from eating heavy southern food. This was perfect. The chick pea salad and chicken stroganoff were so tasty. Highly recommended for a change of pace from the usual fare!
Not wheelchair accessible as there is a step in and they do not have a ramp. I would have thought there could be accommodations made in the outside seating around but I'm not sure the fence opens. The food was delicious. Coxinha and Molceca were the best dishes we tried. They are authentic and exactly what you would get while in Brazil. Disappointed to see the Feijoada was out of stock but it's on our list for the next visit. We also bought a gift card just to ensure we will be back either next month or later this fallThe staff was really helpful and kind. The music was Brazilian. We loved the place and my wife felt like it was her mom's home cooking!
My husband raves about this place and has been trying to get me to eat here for about a year. Sorry I didn’t try it sooner. We ordered food for carry-out. Everything was delicious. Got the feijoada completa… reminded me of black eyed peas with collard greens but even better. The chicken was so juicy and perfectly seasoned. Chickpea salad ingredients were so fresh. Just everything was perfect. Will definitely be back.
One of my fav places to eat in the Burgh. Their chicken & rice soup is amazing, very flavorful. I’ve only ordered takeout thus far but I love the vibe & the ambiance every time I walk in there, and the people are always nice.
It's a great place to socialize delivering an ethnic, yet diverse (gluten-free and vegan friendly) menu, in a very comfortable space. With quality comfort food and array of cultural experiences from hosted events, it's an awesome place for several reasons.
