Quite disappointing! We were at Butterjoint earlier this year on another visit here to Pittsburgh and the experience was outstanding. Our server and the food made it a real gem of a place. It prompted me to go back again with my family to share the experience. The dinner menu didnât seem adequate and the food was so salty⦠simple salad that I requested instead of fries with my burger was inedible. Our bottle of wine we ordered was put on the table and not opened or poured for us. When I received the check, the waiter informed me of the automatic 20% gratuity policy that is added for a table of 5 or more and I thought in this instance, it was cheeky. Nobody came by to ask if everything was satisfactory. I didnât want to make a fuss with my daughters and nieces there, so paid the bill and left. All in all, I will not be returning. The dinner was a bust!
Felt disappointed. Had gone to legume before and was impressed. Thought the same owners would keep up with the quality of their cuisine. They changed it to a burger and bar joint of fair quality. Unfortunately understaffed so the food took a while to come. The servers did their best but thay had several tables to take care of.
Food was great, best fries in Pittsburgh, service was very good. However, on Friday night the bar was backup up with orders and we got our drinks AFTER we got our food. That is/was a problem.

For both apps and entrees, the food came out before we had any plates or silverware-we had to ask for those,but the food was very good.
The burgers here are absolutely addictive. Iâve been thinking about nothing else since finishing Last nightâs meal.
We frequent the restaurant often. My daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday there. She/We werenât disappointed. The food, tres bien and service exceptional. We definitely will return. One of our favorite places to dine.
It was a very casual atmosphere with great small plates and amazing cocktails. We enjoyed ourselves quite a bit! We did not have any of the larger meals, but the smaller plates were pretty great. The pirogies were delicious and the Bramble drink was awesome.
Everything was delicious. Service was amazing. Canât remember her name. Amazing tattoos and the best server Iâve had in a long time.
