Stumbled across this place on accident, no regrets!!! Now I stop weekly for their delicious eats. You can't beat the amount of tasty food you get for the price, especially in today's food market!!! You owe it to yourself to at least try them!!!
I've ordered from Shelly's for years. Never had an issue. But if you are going to close a half hour before your closing time then change your hours. It was extremely ignorant that I tried to call and place an order. Got told i can't order over the phone. I take less than a minute to get there and all I feel is negativity. "I already shut the grill down ". Then change your hours then. Even though they're only open until 3. Excuse me "2:30"I keep my doors open until 11. Take customers sometimes until 11:30. Because that's the hours posted. If I wasn't happy with the hours because we all know people come that last half hour, I would change my hours. Don't think I'll be ordering from there again.

It takes for ever to get the order ready for a pick up.I waited over 45 minutes for just a steak sandwich, I eat in a lot of restaurants such as Texas road house, Apple bee's, Olive gardens and It was never more than 15 minutes waiting time for my order to be ready and those restaurants I mentioned are super busy and not fast food but they know how to get the order fast because they hire enough people to do the work.
Definitely a hidden gem. Well priced and really good food.
Stopped by Breakfast at Shelly's (heretofore referred to as just "Shelly's") because we were trying out a new place. Also we don't get to Allentown enough, so it all worked out.Walking into Shelly's it seemed like a small place, and half of it was empty. Like physically - not that there weren't customers but there weren't tables! There's just a 20 foot entry area where maybe tables would go? Possibly a Covid thing?At any rate, don't let it fool you, just keep waking until you hit the seating area. You'll want to, because it's a great breakfast spot.Had some pancakes, both the blueberry as well as the peanut butter and chocolate chip. Also got a side of eggs and bacon (my breakfast joint litmus test) and everything was terrific.The blueberries were sweet and tart and really complimented the pancakes.The peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes were exactly what an 11 year old me would dream about. It was like Resses' Pancakes. Awesome.Good coffee, nice crisp bacon and they know how to make scrambled eggs. Totally going again.
Amazing breakfast for ridiculously cheap. The home fries are THE BEST. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The place has a very relaxed vibe that I enjoy a lot. Definitely my favorite place to eat in Allentown.
Humble little spot with tasty food and excellent service. It's cash only but worth the trouble, though they do have their own ATM but I dunno the fees. Anyway, if you want a really fulfilling breakfast, come here. Everything is cooked perfectly. The home fries are delicious and crispy. My partner gets their breakfast burrito which is more of a BURRO ?. SO SO SO GOOD! Prices are totally reasonable too. Dunno if the front portion of the shop is being used as a deli but it totally should be. Only wish the place had mimosas or bloody marys for breakfast. Can't wait to go back.

I love this place the food is great especially there breakfast and Kathy the waitress is very nice I would definitely recommend this place especially if you have family and friends who are from out of town or if you just want some great home cooking. I'm very happy Uber eats comes to this place I order the greedy man's breakfast every Saturday and I love it.
