I don’t normally write reviews but this was a really bad experience. Ordered food ahead of time for pickup, came to the store and out of the four employees there only one was actually working the rest were sitting at a table on their phones. Me and my boyfriend ordered our food two hours before closing and when we came in to pick it up, the employees acted like we came in five minutes before close. Luckily we checked our bag before leaving because the whole entire order was wrong, and multiple items were left out. When we went back in and politely asked for our missing items the three employees not working got argumentative like it was such a problem that we were asking for the items we had already paid for. Once we were home and sat down to eat, we noticed how disgusting and not fresh the food was. Everything tasted, smelled, and looked horrible. Basically not even edible. It was a huge waste of time and money.
I was in Greentree store may 26 around noon and the bathroom was very gross ? could tell wasn't cleaned for at least 2 days. Already had my food or would have just left. How long does it take to clean 20-30 minutes.scrub it down sink and one commode mop up. I've cleaned my share of restaurant bathroom. If manager doesn't check and have cleaned before opening tell me how dirty is her hands or hygiene. Will not be back. You're food was good.
This place needs new management or ownership or both. Was in about a month ago and the employees just left the front counter unattended for at least 15 min while people waited to order. Then random friends of employees would show up and walk behind the counter and into the back. Waiting customers completely ignored. Tried going there again yesterday at 2pm and the front door was locked seemingly for no reason. All the chairs were turned up. Then again, another random person pulls up and walks through the front side entrance and into the back behind the counter. No employees attending the front counter. It's the most bizarre, unprofessional scene I've ever seen at a restaurant the last few times I've been there. It's a shame because I love Boston Market and this is one of the only locations in Pittsburgh left.
They close at 10, we came in at 8:55 and all the chairs were up on the tables and the lady looked around at the chairs like we were supposed to take the hint and leave or something. I ordered a side sampler, and my bf ordered a sandwich. They told us that they don’t serve sandwiches after 8, but said it in a tone like we were supposed to know that or something. So he ordered a side sampler and she gave him the wrong sides after we confirmed 3x what we wanted. We also had to tell her 3x that’s we wanted a drink and then all the drinks were empty so we had like two options to choose from. Waste of time and money
The staff was so welcoming an the food an service was awesome my new favorite place..it was worth the 1hr 15min drive
This place is laughable. Came in a month ago from out of the area to take a family member to lunch and dine in. The dining area was closed do to lack of staff.. ok... Figured we can eat at a park even though it was 30 degrees but we had coats.. lets do it! Ordered, and asked for utensils and was informed by the employee they did not have any. seriously? How do you eat Boston market without utensils.. lol . Being the glutton for punishment I am I was in the area and decided to give it another try.. Last time was a fluke right? Boston market is good. right ?well, Wrong! Not this one. Gone are the days where this was a good place to eat. And it used to be! I came in I was greeted then kindly told we are out of turkey, and bread for sandwiches. No problem, Ordered the chicken and asked for a topping, of course they were out or possibly discontinued it. Fine. was offered another similar and they barely had enough to fill a tiny container half way up. I AM not a picky eater But the chicken was dryer than any chicken I have ever had , tasted like card board. Horrible! I do not usually write reviews but with inflation and trying financial times this place is no bargain. I would not waste my hard earned money at this poorly managed location. Better off staying away and looking for a better managed Boston Market location.
Didn't have available the normal variety of side dishes, which was limiting, but I did try one of their new desserts.. Lemon Italian cream cake, which was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean.
Horrible meal! My meal was a delivery. The veggies were old mushy and saturated with butter but also had raw veggies mixed in. This is typical of the Greentree location. I usually ask them to make frsh veggies when I dine in person... I don't recommend eating by delivery because they will stick you with garbage.
This place has not survived Covid. The staff sucks; they are slow and rude. They prioritize pick-up orders and will ignore people at the counter. Their dining room is not open yet. They don't have any eating utensils today. They don't even have any music or anything on so the place is super depressing. The employees clearly do not want to be here. They should just close already. It's really bad... and then there is the food. They only have 1/3 of the menu and what they do have is overcooked mush. The steam table foods are sitting in water. The chicken is dry and the meatloaf is crusty. I cannot like this place less.
Yesterday at the green tree PA location was the holiday rush for catering and so on.. The staff was working their butts off and doing a great job. However there was one woman there she had short green dreads red shirt and jeans …. She was SO rude to her employees telling them to move, yelling at their every move, tightening up her fists grabbing at her hair in frustration.. tell her employees if they are in her way she will push them out of the way…. One costumer said she was
